Shallow Creek Loop, 9800 block, 12:17 a.m. Jan. 22. Three men wearing masks forced their way inside a residence and attacked an occupant, who followed them out of the home and fired a weapon, striking three parked vehicles. The victim was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.
Washington St., 17600 block, 3:26 a.m. Jan. 17. Tasheka Lashon Leavell, 35, of Dumfries was found in her home suffering from gunshot wounds to the upper body. She was pronounced dead at the scene. A 38-year-old man of no fixed address was arrested Jan. 21. Two Dumfries men, ages 27 and 29, were arrested in Palm Beach County, Fla., on Jan. 23. The three men, who are brothers, are being charged with first-degree murder.
Montclair area, Jan. 19. A 34-year-old Dumfries man was arrested in connection with the sexual assaults of two juvenile acquaintances.
Vineland Pl., 3300 block, 11:59 p.m. Jan. 20. Three bullet holes were found in an exterior wall at a residence. No injuries were reported.
Jefferson Davis Hwy., 17400 block, 8:58 p.m. Jan. 19. Two men robbed a grocery store of cash at gunpoint.
Dumfries Rd., 14900 block, 1:02 a.m. Jan. 20. During an argument, a man attacked an acquaintance and broke her cellphone. A 26-year-old Manassas man was arrested. No serious injuries were reported.
Ridgeway Dr., 7200 block, 12:22 a.m. Jan. 16. A man driving a truck ran down a pedestrian, and the driver and a passenger exited the vehicle and robbed the victim of his wallet and cellphone. The victim was treated for injuries that were not life-threatening.
Black Forest Lane, 12700 block, 2:20 a.m. Jan. 16. During an argument at a restaurant, a man shot a man in the leg, then fled with a male accomplice. The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment. An investigation was ongoing.
Gordon Blvd., 12500 block, 8:07 p.m. Jan. 14. During an argument at a residence, a man attacked an acquaintance and took her cellphone. A 21-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested. No serious injuries were reported.
Corbett Pl., 1200 block, 8:25 a.m. Jan. 18. A man fired a gun at a vehicle, striking a tire. No injuries were reported.
Telegraph Rd., 14600 block, 5:30 to 6 a.m. Jan. 18. Several gunshots were heard. No injuries were reported.
Quick Pl., 13100 block, 3:49 p.m. Jan. 18. A male robbed a man of cash.
Ramrod Rd., 11200 block, 1:53 p.m. Jan. 18. A man robbed a male acquaintance of cash at gunpoint. A 23-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.
Whitaker Pl., 4600 block, 5:43 p.m. Jan. 19. Two males demanded cash from two people at gunpoint, then fled empty-handed when the victims resisted. A shot was fired into the ground during the incident. No injuries were reported.
Antietam Rd., 12300 block, 5 p.m. Jan. 11 to 11 a.m. Jan. 17. Two TVs, a laptop computer, a video game system and a cellphone were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a back door.
Evansdale Rd., 4500 block, 6:40 to 8:45 a.m. Jan. 14. A residence was entered by breaking a laundry-room window. Nothing was reported missing.
Holly View Dr., 11900 block, 12:30 to 1:15 p.m. Jan. 18. A residence was entered through an unlocked door. Nothing was reported missing.
Marlboro Ct., 12200 block, 8:45 p.m. Jan. 20. An attempt was made to enter an occupied residence through a window. A man fled empty-handed when confronted.
Marsala Ct., 3800 block, 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 16. An attempt was made to enter a residence by damaging the front door. Nothing was reported missing.
Rollingwood Dr., 3300 block, 1:08 p.m. Jan. 18. An attempt was made to enter a residence. Nothing was reported missing.
