GAINESVILLE AREA
WEAPONS

Old Linton Hall Rd., 7500 block, March 31. A man in a restaurant parking lot fired a handgun into the air. A 36-year-old Fairfax man was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Old Carolina Rd., 7300 block, 7 to 8 p.m. March 28. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence. There was no sign of forced entry.

MANASSAS AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Maplewood Dr., 8100 block, 2 to 7 a.m. March 29. A laptop computer and a backpack were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

Tommy Ct., 8500 block, 9:30 a.m. March 23 to 6:30 p.m. March 31. Jewelry and other property were stolen from a residence.

TRIANGLE AREA
WEAPONS

Red Oak Lane, 19000 block, 5:20 p.m. April 2. During an argument, a woman threatened a female acquaintance with a machete.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Jurgensen Dr., 3600 block, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. April 2. A laptop computer, a computer tablet and a video game system were stolen from a residence.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
ASSAULTS

Bayside Ave., 1200 block, 2:23 p.m. March 27. During an argument, a man assaulted a female acquaintance. A 35-year-old man was arrested.

Marina Way, 13100 block, 12:50 a.m. March 30. A person in a restaurant stabbed a man, who was treated for injuries.

Wythe Ct., 2900 block, March 21. During an argument, a man assaulted a female acquaintance.

WEAPONS

Bayside Ave., 1300 block, 8:31 p.m. March 30. Several gunshots were heard.

ROBBERIES

Bronco Way, 11:24 p.m. March 27. A gunman robbed a cab driver of cash.

Worth Ave., 13000 block, 6:15 p.m. March 29. A man at a gas station demanded cash from an employee at knifepoint. He fled empty-handed when the employee screamed.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Harrison St., 1400 block, 11:45 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. March 31. Three laptop computers and a headset were stolen from a residence.

Derby Ct., 3800 block, 1 p.m. March 26 to 6 a.m. March 27. Two laptop computers and a video game system were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked rear door.

Putnam Cir., 13100 block, 1 a.m. March 27 to 1 p.m. March 30. A laptop computer and an MP3 player were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

Centreville Rd., 8500 block, 12:20 p.m. March 27. A diamond ring was stolen from a bathroom at a gas station.

VANDALISM

Euclid Ave., 8100 block, 6:30 p.m. March 29 to 10 a.m. March 30. Tires of 16 vehicles at a business were slashed. The parking lot was entered by damaging a fence.
