Morgan Ct., 3600 block, 4:25 a.m. April 17. During an argument, a man knocked a female acquaintance to the ground and attempted to choke her.


Balls Ford Rd., 10400 block, April 18. A man met a female juvenile in Maryland and took her to a Manassas motel, where he involved her in prostitution. A 26-year-old Oakland, Calif., man was arrested.


Coverstone Hill Cir., 11900 block, 7:44 p.m. April 22. A large group was fighting when someone fired a weapon several times.


Belle Grae Dr., 7500 block, 5:20 to 9:42 p.m. April 21. A residence was entered by forcing a door, and items were moved.

Kessler Pl., 11200 block, 11:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. April 17. A TV, a computer and a video game system were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked rear door.

Quail Run Lane, 7500 block, 3:43 p.m. April 17. A man entered a residence and took two dogs belonging to an acquaintance. He duct-taped the dogs’ legs and mouths and put them in the trunk of his car. He dumped one dog on the side of the road; its body was later found. He then let other dog go. The dog was found and returned to its owner. A 44-year-old Manassas man was arrested.


Belvedere Dr., 14400 block, 11:42 p.m. April 21. A group of men and women assaulted a male pedestrian.

Blazer Loop, 3300 block, 11:16 p.m. April 19. During an argument at a residence, a man assaulted a female acquaintance. A 26-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.


Bakersfield St., 14600 block, 7:42 p.m. April 19. Several gunshots were heard. A residence was damaged.


Eileen Ct., 4300 block, 9:44 p.m. April 22. A man exposed himself to a female pedestrian.

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 13900 block, 6:51 p.m. April 20. A man in a store exposed himself to two young children.


Colebrook Ct., 12500 block, 12:12 p.m. April 18. Three masked gunmen entered a residence through a rear door by force and ransacked several rooms. They fled empty-handed in a vehicle.

East Longview Dr., 1300 block, 11:30 p.m. April 21 to 6 a.m. April 22. A purse containing cash was stolen from a residence.

Heatherbrook Ct.,1900 block, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. April 22. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence.

Lamar Rd., 14600 block, 11 p.m. April 19 to 9:20 p.m. April 20. A laptop computer was stolen from a school entered by breaking a window.

Lynn St., 13700 block, 9:30 p.m. April 19 to 1:15 a.m. April 20. Cash and two video game systems were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

Maple Ridge Dr., 2600 block, 3:06 p.m. April 20. Cash was stolen from a residence entered through an open door. A resident saw a man flee the residence.

Nellings Pl., 11600 block, 2:47 p.m. April 22. Four men entered a residence by prying a rear window and stole a watch. Two Forestville men, both 18, and two District Heights men, 18 and 22, were arrested.

Partree Ct., 1900 block, 9:40 a.m. to 3 p.m. April 16. A video game system and a game were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked rear door.

Karlo St. and Janja Ct., 3:20 a.m. April 21. Property was stolen from five unlocked vehicles. A 17-year-old male was arrested.
