DUMFRIES AREA
ROBBERIES

Corwin Pl., 15800 block, 3:30 p.m. May 11. After making arrangements through a Web site to buy a laptop, two women demanded the laptop from a man at gunpoint. They struggled, and the women fled empty-handed.

GAINESVILLE AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Davis Store Lane, 14100 block, 5 p.m. May 6 to 6 a.m. May 7. A safe containing cash was stolen from a business entered by forcing open a rear door.

MANASSAS AREA
SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Community Dr., 8100 block, 4:01 p.m. May 7. A man sexually assaulted a female acquaintance. A 34-year-old man was arrested.

ASSAULTS

Postern Ct., 10900 block, 11:30 p.m. May 8. During an argument, a man assaulted a male acquaintance. A 22-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

WEAPONS

Liberia Ave., 9500 block, 12:52 a.m. May 11. A man in a restaurant parking lot pointed a handgun at employees leaving the restaurant. The employees fled and called police.

Ridgeway Dr., 7200 block, 4:20 a.m. May 11. During an argument between a woman and a male acquaintance, the woman retrieved a shotgun. The man and another person disarmed her. A 22-year-old Manassas woman was arrested.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Potomac Mills Rd. and Town Center Dr., 4:11 a.m. May 13. A man at a homeless camp entered a female acquaintance’s tent and raped her. A 46-year-old man was arrested.

ASSAULTS

Daniel Stuart Dr., 2000 block, 12:10 a.m. May 11. During an argument between two groups of men, one man stabbed another with a knife. The injured man was taken to a hospital.

Potomac Mills Rd. and Town Center Dr., 8:41 p.m. May 12. During an argument at a homeless camp, a man stabbed another man in the upper body. A third man attempted to intervene and was cut in the face. A 42-year-old Alexandria man was arrested.

WEAPONS

Darlington Loop, 1900 block, 3:12 a.m. May 12. Several gunshots were heard.

Jefferson Davis Hwy. and Delaware Dr., 5:21 p.m. May 11. After a road rage incident, a male motorist brandished a weapon at a female motorist.

Nationville Lane, 13300 block, 5:50 p.m. May 13. During an argument at a residence, a man brandished a weapon at a male relative. A 61-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Gardenview Loop and Summerland Dr., 8 a.m. May 12. After arranging to meet an unknown man, a woman and a man with a knife robbed the unknown man of cash, a cellphone and his vehicle, a black 2006 Toyota 4Runner. Later that afternoon, in the 13300 block of Occoquan Road, another man got into a vehicle, believed to be the stolen vehicle, with an unknown woman. They drove to the area of Devils Reach Road and Carolyn Forest Drive, where a man who had been hiding in the back seat of the vehicle robbed the man of a wallet and cellphone at knifepoint. They forced the man from the vehicle.

Lodge Ter. and Old Kings Rd., 10:30 p.m. May 6. Two men robbed another man of cash, a backpack, two cellphones and a pair of shoes after one of the men arranged to meet the third man, an acquaintance, through social media.

Occoquan Rd., 13100 block, 9:09 a.m. May 12. A gunman robbed a female pedestrian of a purse.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Alton Hotel Ct., 2700 block, 7:55 a.m. to 3 p.m. May 7. Two laptops, a cellphone, a video game system and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

Cheshire Station Plaza, 4500 block, 10:49 p.m. May 9. Several cellphones were stolen from a business entered by breaking a front door.

Forge Dr., 4000 block, 6:30 to 8 p.m. May 11. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Gideon Dr., 14400 block, 9 p.m. May 11 to 2:30 p.m. May 12. Cash was stolen from a business entered by cutting a hole through a ceiling.

Horizon Ct., 2000 block, 1:40 to 11:30 p.m. May 10. Two laptops and a TV were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a bedroom window.

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 15700 block, 3 p.m. May 5 to 7 a.m. May 6. Electrical wiring was stolen from a business entered by cutting a lock on a rear door.

Oakwood Dr., 11900 block, 10:41 a.m. May 10. Two juvenile males stood outside of a rear door of a residence. They fled empty-handed when a resident confronted them.

Tilletson Pl., 1800 block, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. May 9. A TV was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a basement door.

Valleywood Dr., 12800 block, 1:03 p.m. May 8. An attempt was made to enter a residence by breaking a rear window.
