DUMFRIES AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Higgins Dr., 5000 block, 11:22 a.m. July 1. A recreation center was entered through the roof. Sinks were clogged, and water was left running, flooding the building. Several fire extinguishers were discharged.

MANASSAS AREA
ASSAULTS

Willow Pond Ct., 7700 block, 4:52 p.m. July 5. A man banged on an interior garage door of a residence, then assaulted a male acquaintance when he answered the door. A 47-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

CHILD NEGLECT

Chadds Landing Way, 7600 block, 2:08 p.m. July 6. Two young girls were left unattended at a residence. A man and a woman, both 31, of Manassas, were arrested.

Winfield Loop, 10500 block, 8:15 p.m. July 8. A young boy was found walking outside unsupervised. His mother was found at a residence unresponsive and intoxicated. A 25-year-old Manassas woman was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Kinship Ct., 11000 block, 1:18 a.m. July 6. A man forcibly entered a residence and robbed a female acquaintance of property at knifepoint. A 21-year-old man was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Olga Lane, 6600 block, 12:30 p.m. June 29 to 12:30 p.m. July 6. Cash and a safe containing jewelry were stolen from a residence.

Remington Rd., 7500 block, 11 a.m. June 30 to 11:30 p.m. July 8. A video game system and games were stolen from a residence entered through a rear door.

NOKESVILLE AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Classic Lakes Way, 8800 block, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. July 3. Jewelry and clothes were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear basement door.

TRIANGLE AREA
SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Potomac Crest Dr., 19000 block, July 4. A man sexually assaulted a female acquaintance. A 45-year-old Triangle man was arrested.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Gideon Dr., 14500 block, 4:30 a.m. July 6. A man in a hotel room sexually assaulted a man and a woman. A 35-year-old Fort Belvoir man was arrested. During the investigation, the Fort Belvoir man said he was assaulted by three unknown men while smoking a cigarette outside the hotel.

Gordon Blvd., 13300 block, 3 to 4 a.m. July 4. A man in a hotel room sexually assaulted a woman.

ASSAULTS

Berlin Ct., 3200 block, 7:21 p.m. July 5. During an argument, a man cut a male acquaintance’s face with a fork. The acquaintance was treated for injuries. A 38-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Kellogg Dr., 4800 block, 11:08 a.m. July 7. During an argument, a man assaulted a female acquaintance. A 20-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Kingsman Rd., 13600 block, June 22 to June 23. During an argument, a man handcuffed two acquaintances, a man and a woman. He kicked the man knocking him to the ground. A 27-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

PROSTITUTION

Crossing Pl., 14300 block, 8 p.m. July 5. A 25-year-old Lorton woman was arrested at a hotel and charged with prostitution and possession of marijuana. A 29-year-old Citrus Heights, Calif., man was arrested and charged with aiding prostitution and possession of marijuana.

ROBBERIES

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 13900 block, 3:39 p.m. July 7. Two masked men robbed a business of a cash register and other property at gunpoint. The business owner attempted to chase the men who fired the gun at him.

Kaplan Ct., 4600 block, 4:43 p.m. July 6. Three masked men forcibly entered a residence and robbed a man of cash at gunpoint.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Gemstone Dr., 14400 block, 7 to 10 p.m. July 7. Cash was stolen from a residence.

Lockleven Lane, 12700 block, 2 p.m. July 3 to 6 p.m. July 6. A laptop computer, a video game system, jewelry and clothes were stolen from a residence entered by prying a rear door.

Moon Way, 3500 block, 1:09 p.m. July 2. An attempt was made to enter a residence through a rear door.

Occoquan Rd., 12700 block, 6 p.m. July 8 to 2:15 a.m. July 9. A laptop computer, a cellphone, jewelry and other property were stolen from a residence entered through a basement door.

Potomac Mills Cir., 2700 block, 2:30 p.m. July 4. A man took merchandise from a store, then sprayed two store employees with pepper spray when they followed him to the parking lot. The man dropped the merchandise and fled in a vehicle. A 27-year-old District man was arrested.

Potomac Mills Cir., 2700 block, 2:14 p.m. July 7. A woman pepper-sprayed a store employee when the employee confronted the woman about shoplifting. The woman grabbed merchandise and fled the store. A second employee followed the woman to the parking lot, where she also pepper-sprayed him. A 33-year-old Windsor Mill, Md., woman was arrested.

Cougar Ct., 10:30 p.m. June 28 to 6:33 a.m. June 30. A 1970 trailer with a 1984 John boat attached was stolen.

Jessica Dr., 3 p.m. July 3 to 8 p.m. July 4. A cellphone was stolen.

VANDALISM

Evans St., 6 p.m. July 2 to 11:03 a.m. July 3. A tomato plant was damaged.
