DUMFRIES AREA
ASSAULTS

Cherry Hill Rd., 1800 block, 5:52 p.m. July 21. A man knocked on the front door of an acquaintance’s residence. As he was talking to the acquaintance, two other males approached and assaulted the acquaintance. The three fled in a vehicle with a fourth male. Three Dumfries men, ages 18, 22 and 26, were arrested.

Kearsarge Dr., 1100 block, 9:17 p.m. July 17. During an argument on a basketball court, a man stabbed a male in the abdomen. The injured male was taken to a hospital.

MANASSAS AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Centreville Rd., 7200 block, 2 to 3 a.m. July 21. Cash and cigarettes were stolen from a gas station entered by breaking a glass front door.

Hornbaker Rd., 9000 block, 6:30 to 8:15 p.m. July 23. A business was entered by prying a rear door.

Humphrey Lane, 8200 block, 3 to 4 p.m. July 22. A video game system, a cellphone and clothes were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Ferndale Rd., 14300 block, December to July. A man sexually assaulted a female juvenile acquaintance several times. A 37-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

WEAPONS

Minnieville Rd. and Silverdale Dr., 6:13 p.m. July 17. A male motorist who was driving aggressively pulled in front of another motorist, stopped his vehicle, retrieved a handgun from the trunk and approached the other male motorist. A 25-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Dale Blvd. and Forestdale Ave., 12:30 a.m. July 21. Three males assaulted a male pedestrian, knocking him to the ground. They took cash and a cellphone from his pockets.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Spriggs and Minnieville roads, 9:42 a.m. July 22. A male motorist exposed himself and made inappropriate gestures to two female motorists in separate incidents. A 36-year-old Fredericksburg man was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bath Ct., 3500 block, 11:45 p.m. July 23. A male juvenile entered a residence and fled empty-handed when a resident saw him.

Berwick Pl., 4200 block, 9 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. July 18. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence.

Boatswain Cir., 16300 block, 2:30 p.m. July 20 to 9:20 p.m. July 21. A residence was entered by forcing a kitchen door, then a bronze 2006 Honda Accord was stolen.

Gardenview Loop, 1000 block, 10 a.m. to 6;30 p.m. July 21. A laptop computer was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

Madrigal Dr., 14100 block, 7:15 a.m. July 20 to 6:30 p.m. July 23. Tools, jewelry and other items were stolen from a residence.

Potomac Mills Cir., 2700 block, April to July 19. A female employee stole jewelry from a jewelry store. Several pieces were recovered. A 26-year-old Woodbridge woman was arrested.

Prince William Pkwy., 2900 block, 11 p.m. July 19 to 9 a.m. July 20. Jewelry was stolen from a business entered through the roof.

Royal Ct., 16500 block, 4:05 a.m. July 18. An attempt was made to enter a residence through a rear window.

Tilletson Pl., 1800 block, 4:20 p.m. July 18 to 2:58 a.m. July 19. A TV and a video game system were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a basement door.

Tilletson Pl., 1800 block, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. July 20. A residence was entered by forcing a basement door.

ASSAULTS

Main St., 9400 block, 1:15 a.m. July 18. A man hit another man in the head with an unknown object. The injured man was treated.

ROBBERIES

Centreville Rd., 9200 block, 4:10 a.m. July 16. A man robbed a pharmacy of prescription medicine and fled on a bike.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Gooseberry Dr., 9300 block, 2:45 a.m. July 18. A glass door at a residence was broken.

Hood Rd. and Calypso Dr., 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. July 13. A bag containing tools was stolen from a vehicle.

Hood Rd., 9300 block, Buckner Rd., 9800 block, Hampton Rd., 9900 block, Aspen Pl., 9700 block and Witch Hazel Way, 9300 block, 1:30 a.m. July 16. Windows of five vehicles and two residential doors were broken.

VANDALISM

Shady Grove Cir., 8300 block, July 14 to 15. A hood of a vehicle was keyed and a tire was flattened.
