DUMFRIES AREA
SEXUAL ASSAULTS

John Robinson Lane, 3200 block, Sept. 6. A man sexually assaulted a male juvenile several times between 1999 and 2002. A 42-year-old man was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Woodland Dr., 18400 block, 8:30 a.m. to 2:50 p.m. Sept. 10. A safe was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

GAINESVILLE AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Lee Hwy., 14600 block, 4:59 a.m. Sept. 11. Two businesses were entered by breaking the front glass doors and cash registers were stolen.

HAYMARKET AREA
ASSAULTS

Doe Ridge Rd., 15100 block, 7:59 a.m. Sept. 7. A tripwire and nails were placed in a yard of a residence. A woman and a Social Services case worker were walking to the residence to remove a foster child when the woman stepped on a nail. A male juvenile barricaded himself in a basement room but eventually surrendered to police. A 16-year-old Haymarket male was arrested.

MANASSAS AREA
ASSAULTS

Bosbury Ct., 7500 block, 7:31 p.m. Sept. 11. During an argument, a man pulled out a machete and chased a male acquaintance.

ROBBERIES

Battleview Pkwy., 10700 block, 8:37 a.m. Sept. 10. A woman knocked on the door of a hotel room. When the male and female occupants answered, the woman, with a knife, forcibly entered the room, followed by two gunmen. They tied up the male’s hands and feet and fled with cash, a laptop computer and two cellphones.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Blandsford Dr., 8100 block, 8:50 p.m. Sept. 10 to 6:50 a.m. Sept. 11. A TV was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked rear window.

Centreville Rd., 7500 block, 9 p.m. Sept. 10 to 6 a.m. Sept. 11. Cash, a laptop computer and 200 cartons of cigarettes were stolen from a service station entered by forcing a side window.

Stokely Dr., 8500 block, noon Sept. 2 to 2 p.m. Sept. 10. A residence was entered by damaging a front door.

TRIANGLE AREA
PROSTITUTION

Locust Shade Dr., 4700 block, Sept. 4 and 5. During an investigation, undercover detectives made contact with several individuals soliciting sexual acts inside a park. A 44-year-old Dumfries man, a 67-year-old Alexandria man, a 56-year-old Waldorf, Md., man, a 43-year-old Stafford man, a 76-year-old Ruther Glen, Va., man, a 44-year-old Woodbridge man and a 25-year-old Stafford woman were arrested.

ASSAULTS

Ironwood Rd., 1300 block, 1:50 a.m. Sept. 5. During an argument, a man assaulted a female acquaintance and attempted to choke her. A 20-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Emberdale Dr. and Ensbrook Lane, 10:42 p.m. Sept. 10. Three men assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of a wallet.

Gordon Blvd., 12500 block, 2:18 p.m. Sept. 6. Two men robbed a convenience store of cash at gunpoint.

Harbor Dr., 12800 block, 11:25 a.m. Sept. 5. A former employee broke several windows of a carwash with a metal bar. When he approached a manager with the bar, the manager gave him cash and the man fled. A 46-year-old man was arrested.

Minnieville Rd., 13400 block, 5:31 p.m. Sept. 7. Two males grabbed a cellphone from a male pedestrian at gunpoint.

Minnieville Rd. and Bobcat Ct., 7:28 p.m. Sept. 8. Two men in a vehicle stopped in front of a male pedestrian, exited the vehicle, assaulted the pedestrian and robbed him of cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Alabama Ave., 14800 block, 6:15 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sept. 11. A TV was stolen from a residence entered by prying a rear door.

Barksdale St., 14700 block, 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sept. 11. Video game systems, jewelry and clothes were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

Bronson Dr., 3300 block, 11 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. Sept. 8. Two computers and clothes were stolen from a residence entered by forcing a front door.

Horner Rd., 1400 block, 3:17 a.m. Sept. 8. A man entered a residence through an open window and grabbed a sleeping female juvenile. When she woke up and screamed, the man fled.

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 13300 block, 8 p.m. Sept. 4 to 1:30 p.m. Sept. 5. A business was entered through an unlocked rear window.

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 13600 block, 6 p.m. Sept. 4 to 10 a.m. Sept. 5. Cash and a water pump were stolen from a business entered through an unlocked side door.

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 14600 block, 2:20 a.m. Sept. 8. Cash was stolen from a business entered through a rear door.

Midway Ct., 5200 block, 10:30 a.m. to 10:30 p.m. Sept. 7. A residence was entered by forcing a rear door.

Seminole Rd., 3000 block, 7 a.m. to 11:09 p.m. Sept. 6. Two TVs and two laptop computers were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked rear window.

ROBBERIES

Cavalry Lane, 8500 block, midnight Sept. 6. Four males assaulted a male pedestrian and robbed him of a knife. Two Manassas men, 18 and 19, a 19-year-old Woodbridge man and a male juvenile were arrested.

Digges Rd., 8400 block, 2:25 a.m. Sept. 7. A woman hit a female pedestrian in the head and robbed her of a wallet.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Euclid Ave., 9100 block, 5 p.m. Sept. 6 to 6:30 a.m. Sept. 9. Several truck tires were stolen from a business.

Lake Jackson and Libeau drives, Sept. 2 to 6. Columns and steel beams were stolen from a construction site.

Nikki Pl., 9200 block, 2:50 a.m. Sept. 10. Cash was stolen from a vehicle.

Richmond Ave., 8600 block, 9:25 a.m. Sept. 10. A GPS unit and clothes were stolen from two vehicles.
