BRISTOW AREA
ASSAULTS

Carmella Ct., 13300 block, Sept. 20 to 23. A man assaulted a female acquaintance on two occasions and took her vehicle without permission. A 24-year-old Bristow man was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Tuckahoe Ct., 3400 block, 4 p.m. Sept. 23. A man attempted to enter a residence through a basement window.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Neale Sound Ct., 10400 block, 2:11 a.m. Sept. 23. A man sexually assaulted a female acquaintance. A 57-year-old Gainesville man was arrested.

ASSAULTS

Old Carolina Rd., 7300 block, 1:13 a.m. Sept. 22. During an argument, a man stabbed a another man in the chest and a male acquaintance in the forehead and arm. They were both taken to a hospital. A 21-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Rodes Dr. and Double Day Lane, 3:30 p.m. Sept. 20. A male assaulted a male juvenile pedestrian, knocked him to the ground and robbed him of a wallet, cellphone and backpack.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Launch Cir., 10200 block, 6:30 p.m. Sept. 21 to 9:30 a.m. Sept. 22. An attempt was made to enter a residence by damaging a rear window.

TRIANGLE AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Cabin Rd., 18300 block, 3 p.m. Sept. 18. Two males rang a doorbell of a residence, then attempted to kick open a rear door. They fled when a resident saw them.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
HOMICIDES

Melbourne Ave., 14300 block, 3:15 p.m. Sept. 21. After a robbery, a man and his acquaintances confronted a woman who robbed his friend of cash. One of the woman’s acquaintances assaulted one of the man’s acquaintances with a handgun. The woman assaulted the man and forced him into a vehicle with her acquaintances. They drove to a park and stabbed the man. Kenny Joseph Diaz, 18, of Woodbridge was taken to a hospital, where he died. Two 19-year-old Woodbridge women; three Woodbridge women, 22, 24 and 29; two Woodbridge men, 22 and 26; a 32-year-old man of no fixed address and four 16-year-old Woodbridge males were arrested.

ASSAULTS

Bobster Ct., 16500 block, 2:15 a.m. Sept. 22. During an argument at a residence, a man assaulted a female acquaintance and attempted to choke her. A 27-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Lynn St., 13600 block, 1:47 a.m. Sept. 20. During an argument, a man assaulted a female acquaintance. A 32-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Ogilvie St., 3800 block, 2:41 a.m. Sept. 21. During an argument, a man assaulted a female acquaintance and attempted to choke her. A 30-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Smoketown Rd., 13700 block, 2:26 a.m. Sept. 21. During a fight in front of a restaurant, two men were hit in the face and someone fired a weapon in the air.

Thenia Pl., 1600 block, 1:09 a.m. Sept. 25. During an argument, a man attempted to forcibly remove a female acquaintance from a residence.

ROBBERIES

Horner Rd., 1700 block, 1:30 a.m. Sept. 14. A male exited a vehicle, hit a male pedestrian in the face and robbed him of a wallet and cellphone at gunpoint.

Mapledale Ave. and Dale Blvd., 7 p.m. Sept. 18. A male pushed another male off a bike and robbed him of shoes.

Ripple Creek Ct., 12700 block, 9:02 p.m. Sept. 22. A gunman hit a man in the face and robbed him of cash, a computer tablet and car keys. He fled in the injured man’s 2005 blue Chevrolet Corvette.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Beale Ct., 3400 block, 2:27 p.m. Sept. 19. A male entered a residence through a rear door. He fled empty-handed when a resident saw him.

Eisenhower Cir., 1300 block, 10:50 p.m. Sept. 21 to 5:14 a.m. Sept. 23. Cash, a laptop computer and two sports jerseys were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked window.

Flotilla Way, 16700 block, 11:40 p.m. Sept. 17. An attempt was made to enter a residence through a window.

Gableridge Turn, 1800 block, Sept. 3. A man attempted to enter a residence through a bedroom window. He fled when a resident saw him.

Gordon Blvd., 13300 block, 9 p.m. Sept. 20 to 8:15 a.m. Sept. 21. Cash was stolen from a business entered by forcing a garage door.

Harrison St., 1400 block, 4:45 a.m. Sept. 22. An attempt was made to enter a residence by damaging a window.

Worth Ave., 13200 block, 9 p.m. Sept. 18 to 8 a.m. Sept. 19. Cellphones were stolen from a business entered by breaking a glass front door.
