THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Cape May Ct., 3300 block, 8:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Jan. 9. Cash was stolen from a residence.

HAYMARKET AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Cullen Pl., 6300 block, 5 p.m. Jan. 8 to 8 a.m. Jan. 9. Cash was stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked basement window.

MANASSAS AREA
SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Ashland Ave., Jan. 11. A man abducted a female juvenile acquaintance from a Fairfax County residence and took her to a Manassas residence, where he sexually assaulted her. A 22-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

Black Forest Ct. area, October to December. A man sexually assaulted a female juvenile acquaintance. A 38-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

Teakwood Ct. area, October to January. A man sexually assaulted a female juvenile acquaintance. A 27-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Balls Ford Rd., 10700 block, 12:56 a.m. Jan. 11. A man attempted to take a laptop computer from a fast-food restaurant when the male owner went to the restroom. The owner confronted the man, who was with a group of males, and they began to fight. One of the males held the owner while another male assaulted him.

Festival Lane, 10300 block, 7 p.m. Jan. 12. Three males in a parking lot demanded cash from a grocery store employee. When the man refused, they assaulted him and fled. An 18-year-old man was arrested.

OCCOQUAN AREA

ASSAULTS

Mill St., 300 block, 11:51 p.m. Jan. 11. A man and a woman assaulted two restaurant employees who were attempting to escort them from the business. The man attempted to stab the male employee with a key, and the woman hit the female employee in the face. A 46-year-old Alexandria man and a 36-year-old Woodbridge woman were arrested.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
ASSAULTS

Dillingham Sq., 12400 block, 2:08 a.m. Jan. 11. After an argument in a restaurant, four males in a parking lot assaulted a man, who was later treated for injuries.

Watson Dr., 14400 block, Jan. 13. During an argument, a man forcibly entered a female acquaintance’s residence and stabbed her several times. The woman was treated for injuries. A 68-year-old man was arrested.

Wyndale Ct., 3200 block, 11:48 p.m. Jan. 9. A gunman attempted to rob a male pedestrian. The two fought, and the pedestrian stabbed the gunman with a knife. A 19-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested and charged with aggravated malicious wounding. A 19-year-old Haymarket man was arrested and charged with attempted robbery, use of a firearm in commission of a felony and obstruction of justice. A 22-year-old Haymarket man and two Gainesville men, 18 and 19, were arrested and charged with conspiracy to commit robbery and obstruction of justice.

ROBBERIES

Hoadly Rd., 6400 block, 7:20 p.m. Jan. 10. A man implying he had a weapon robbed a pharmacy of prescription medicine.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Bayside Ave., 1400 block, 9 a.m. to noon Jan. 11. An attempt was made to enter a residence through a locked door.

Lost Canyon Ct., 15000 block, 7:23 a.m. Jan. 13. A man stole a laptop computer and a wallet from a residence. He fled when a resident found him in the kitchen.

Potomac Mills Cir., 2700 block, 5:56 p.m. Jan. 12. A woman stole merchandise from a store. When an employee confronted her in a parking lot, the two struggled, and the woman bit the employee. She dropped the merchandise and fled. A 30-year-old Alexandria woman was arrested.

Prather Pl., 4600 block, 12:03 a.m. Jan. 13. An attempt was made to enter a residence through a rear door.

West St., 9400 block, 4 a.m. Jan. 14. A male in a vehicle fired a BB gun, striking a male pedestrian in the side.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Greenleaf Dr., 10000 block, 8 a.m. to 5:15 p.m. Jan. 13. A pistol, a cellphone and an MP3 player were stolen from a residence.

Liberia Ave., 8200 block, 2 p.m. Jan. 12 to 5:40 a.m. Jan. 13. Tools were stolen from a truck.

Euclid Ave., 8400 block, 2:41 p.m. Jan. 10. A male stole alcohol from a convenience store. A 17-year-old male was arrested.

VANDALISM

Adams St., 1-100 block, 10:33 a.m. Jan. 12 to 10:33 a.m. Jan. 13. A window of a house was broken.

Alpine St., 6 p.m. Jan. 11 to 1:13 a.m. Jan. 12. An object was thrown at a vehicle, damaging the windshield.
