DUMFRIES AREA
SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Inlet Pl. area, Jan. 19. During an argument, a man sexually assaulted a female acquaintance. A 34-year-old Dumfries man was arrested.

ASSAULTS

Triangle Shopping Plaza, 18000 block, 7:35 p.m. Jan. 15. A man in a fast-food restaurant cut a male acquaintance on the arm with a knife. When the acquaintance fled, the armed man and another man chased him. The armed man cut himself on the leg while running. The acquaintance was treated for injuries. Two Woodbridge men, both 21, were arrested.

ROBBERIES

Point Pleasant and Naples lanes, 9:52 p.m. Jan. 14. Two males punched a male pedestrian and demanded his bag. They searched the bag, returned it to the pedestrian and hit him again.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Nugent Lane, 17300 block, 10:45 a.m. Jan. 15. An occupant of a residence heard what sounded like a gunshot, then a man rang the front doorbell and left on foot. Police found that a window of a door had been broken, apparently by a rock. Police returned later the same morning to investigate a person outside the residence. They discovered that an additional window had been broken.

MANASSAS AREA
ASSAULTS

Rixlew Lane, 8500 block, 2:21 a.m. Jan. 20. A man who had been removed from a restaurant drove by the front of the restaurant firing a weapon. Two men and two women were shot. All four were treated for injuries. A 24-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Stonington Lane, 10400 block, 10:39 p.m. Jan. 15. Two males punched a male juvenile acquaintance, searched his pockets and kicked him in the head when he fell. The acquaintance was treated for injuries. Two Manassas males, 15 and 17, were arrested.

INDECENT EXPOSURE

Wellington Rd., 5000 block, 8:05 a.m. Jan. 16. A man standing outside a business window exposed himself.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Gateway Ct., 7000 block, 9 p.m. Jan. 15 to 9:25 a.m. Jan. 16. Three TVs were stolen from a business entered by breaking a front glass door.

Lacy Dr., 8000 block, 10:43 p.m. Jan. 17. A man attempted to enter an acquaintance’s residence by kicking a front door. A 37-year-old Gainesville man was arrested.

ASSAULTS

Graham Ct., 18200 block, 7:28 p.m. Jan. 17. During an argument, a man assaulted a female acquaintance.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Fallbrook Lane area, 4:46 p.m. Jan. 20. A male sexually assaulted two juveniles, a male and a female, several times. A Woodbridge resident, 14, was arrested.

Princedale Dr. area, midnight to 1 a.m. Jan. 16. During an argument, a male juvenile sexually assaulted a female juvenile acquaintance. Another male juvenile acquaintance attempted to intervene. A 15-year-old Woodbridge boy was arrested.

ASSAULTS

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 13900 block, 10:45 p.m. Jan. 19. A man forcibly entered a residence and assaulted a female acquaintance. A 29-year-old man was arrested.

ROBBERIES

Prince William Pkwy., 2200 block, 6:45 a.m. Jan. 17. A male motorist in a commuter parking lot grabbed a purse from a female pedestrian, dragging her until she was freed of the purse. The woman was treated for injuries. In a possibly related incident, at 9:01 a.m. in the 1300 block of Bayside Avenue, a man knocked down a woman, grabbed her purse and fled in a vehicle. And, at 3:28 p.m. in the 13300 block of Woodbridge Street, a man in a restaurant grabbed money from a cash register and fled in a vehicle. A 45-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Seeton Sq., 4200 block, 9:12 p.m. Jan. 17. Three males in a vehicle asked a male juvenile pedestrian whether they could borrow his phone. When he refused, one of the males grabbed the phone. The pedestrian attempted to take it back, and the male threatened him with a knife.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Eden Lane, 12400 block, 6:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Jan. 15. Cash and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

Horizon Ct., 2000 block, 2:16 a.m. Jan. 15. A man attempted to enter a residence through a window. A 47-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Lost Canyon Ct., 15000 block, 4 p.m. Jan. 13 to 4:30 p.m. Jan. 14. An attempt was made to enter a residence through a window.

Piccolo Lane, 14500 block, noon to 1:50 p.m. Jan. 14. Several computers, a TV and jewelry were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

Torrence Pl., 4500 block, 12:51 p.m. Jan. 15. Two men entered a residence through a basement window. A witness called police. Two District men, 41 and 46, were arrested.

Manassas

ROBBERIES

Centreville Rd., 9200 block, 5:45 p.m. Jan. 17. A woman gave a note to an employee in a pharmacy demanding narcotics and threatening to shoot people. A male acquaintance reiterated the threat. They fled with medicine. A 35-year-old woman and a 26-year-old man, both of Manassas, were arrested.

Plantation and Forestwood lanes, 6:35 p.m. Jan. 18. Two males attempted to remove a ladder from a work van. When the owner confronted them, they threatened him with a gun and said they would return later.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Barrington Park Cir., 10300 block, 6 to 10:30 p.m. Jan. 14. A GPS device was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

Calypso Dr., 10200 block, 10 p.m. Jan. 19 to 6 a.m. Jan. 20. Cash and a wallet were stolen from two vehicles.

Calypso Dr., 10200 block, 7:45 p.m. Jan. 17. A man took a jar of coins from a residence.

Cloverhill Ct., 9400 block, midnight to 6 a.m. Jan. 20. A vehicle was searched. Nothing was reported stolen.

Farmington Ct., 10200 block, midnight to 12:30 p.m. Jan. 16. Credit cards, prescription medicine and a digital camera were stolen from a vehicle.

Liberia Ave., 9900 block, 11 a.m. to noon Jan. 17. A purse was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

Manassas Mill Rd., 10200 block, 6 p.m. Dec. 14 to 5 p.m. Jan. 15. An attempt was made to enter a residence.

Point of Woods Dr., 8600 block, Jan. 14 to Jan. 15. A radio, radio equipment and vehicle parts were stolen from a vehicle.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Liberia Ave., 8700 block, 3:25 a.m. Jan. 18. A female passenger in a vehicle took the vehicle when the motorist went inside a convenience store. A 30-year-old Manassas woman was arrested.

VANDALISM

Maple St., 9300 block, Jan. 15. Property inside a school was damaged.
