THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Wellington Rd., 5900 block, 10 a.m. Feb. 26 to 9 a.m. March 1. A business was entered by cutting a lock on a door. Nothing was reported missing.

MANASSAS AREA
ASSAULTS

Gambril Dr., 10800 block, 9:30 a.m. March 3. During an argument, a man hit a male acquaintance on the head with a bottle and strangled him until he lost consciousness. The acquaintance was treated for injuries. A 25-year-old Manassas man was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Brentsville Rd., 9400 block, 5 p.m. Feb. 25 to 9 a.m. Feb. 26. A residence was entered by breaking a basement window. Nothing was reported missing.

Coverstone Hill Cir., 11900 block, 5 p.m. Feb. 28 to 3 p.m. March 1. A video game system, a sports jersey, shoes and other property were stolen from a residence entered by prying a door.

TRIANGLE AREA
ASSAULTS

Belleau Woods Dr., 19300 block, 7:15 p.m. March 1. During an argument, a man hit a female acquaintance on the head several times with a bottle. He fled with her phone. The woman was treated for injuries. A 31-year-old man was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Wharf Lane, 3600 block, 2:03 p.m. Feb. 26. A man entered a residence through an unlocked front door and took a purse containing cash from a bedroom.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
ASSAULTS

Farm Creek Rd., 15300 block, 3:32 p.m. Feb. 28. During an argument, a man cut a male acquaintance on the neck with a razor blade. The acquaintance was treated for injuries. A 51-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

WEAPONS

Fox Lair Dr., 2900 block, 11:40 p.m. Feb. 27. A person driving through a parking lot fired several gunshots. No injuries were reported.

ROBBERIES

Worth Ave., 14000 block, 1:57 p.m. Feb. 26. A man in a store pushed an employee and took money from a cash register. The man had taken cigarettes from the store earlier that day.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Harbor Dr., 12800 block, 7 p.m. Feb. 27 to 7:50 a.m. Feb. 28. A business was entered by removing a pane of glass from a door. Nothing was reported missing.

Potomac Heights Pl., 15000 block, 12:14 a.m. Feb. 27. A laptop computer was stolen from a business.

Silvia Loop, 12700 block, 7 a.m. to 8:10 p.m. Feb. 28. Cash and other property were stolen after a residence was entered by breaking a window. A Ford 150 truck also was stolen.
