BRISTOW AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Fintry St., 9500 block, 5 p.m. March 28 to 5 p.m. March 31. Cash, several stereo systems and household items were stolen from a residence.

DUMFRIES AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Breeze Way, 4900 block, 9:45 p.m. April 3 to 5:30 a.m. April 4. A computer, several video game systems and other items were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

Edgewood Dr., 16500 block, 10 p.m. April 4 to 7 a.m. April 5. Property was stolen from a tennis clubhouse entered by forcing a front door.

Mina Lane, 17500 block, 6:26 a.m. April 4. Several laptop computers, a lock box, jewelry and coins were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a glass door.

Saltwater Dr., 4800 block, 8:30 a.m. April 1 to 3:30 p.m. April 2. Cash was stolen from a residence entered by forcing a rear door.

TRIANGLE AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Kerill Rd., 18600 block, 6:44 a.m. April 7. A man was attempting to enter a residence through a window when a resident saw him and screamed. The man fled on foot. Someone attempted to enter another residence by kicking a basement door.

Thomasson Crossing Dr., 3700 block, 7 a.m. April 7. A man attempted to enter a residence through a locked door. When a resident confronted him, the man fled.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Birchdale Avenue area, April 2. A man allegedly sexually assaulted a juvenile female acquaintance between January and February 2012. A 39-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

ASSAULTS

Foster Pl., 2800 block, 11:31 p.m. April 7. During an argument, a man assaulted a female acquaintance. He held her down and cut her arm with a piece of glass. When a relative intervened, the man fled. The woman was treated for injuries.

CHILD-CARE INCIDENTS

Miranda Ct., 2500 block, 2:14 p.m. April 6. A 2-year-old boy was found wandering a neighborhood alone. A 39-year-old Woodbridge woman was arrested and charged with felony child neglect.

ROBBERIES

Westway Lane, 2:42 p.m. April 6. Three males assaulted a man who had arranged online to sell a pair of shoes. When he attempted to fight, one of the males pulled out a handgun and the other two robbed him of a wallet, cellphone and shoes.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Belle Isle Dr., 17000 block, 10:30 a.m. April 1 to 8:30 a.m. April 2. A sump pump was stolen from a residence under construction.

Harbor Dr., 12800 block, 3:21 a.m. April 3. A business was entered through a rear window. Nothing was reported stolen.

Ivy Ct., 1700 block, 2 p.m. April 2. A man knocked on the front door of a residence. When no one answered, he entered through an unlocked side door. He identified himself to a female resident as a law enforcement agent and requested her identification, then left. Nothing was reported stolen.

Kempair Dr., 4800 block, 6:10 a.m. to 6:15 p.m. April 4. A laptop computer, a video camera, two video game systems and a cellphone were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

Koester Dr., 4700 block, 10:30 a.m. to 2:12 p.m. April 7. A computer, an MP3 player, jewelry and other items were stolen from a residence entered through an unlocked door.

Miss Packard Ct., 17200 block, 5:30 p.m. April 3 to 7 p.m. April 4. A microwave oven was stolen from a residence under construction.

Pickwick Ct., 3300 block, 11:25 a.m. April 7. Two men attempted to enter a residence through the basement. A resident heard glass breaking and called police.

Tacketts Mill Dr., 2200 block, 5:20 p.m. April 2 to 7 a.m. April 3. An attempt was made to enter a business by prying a door.

Tilletson Pl., 1800 block, 4:20 p.m. April 4 to 3:13 a.m. April 5. Jewelry and other items were stolen from a residence entered by breaking a rear door.

Worth Ave., 14000 block, 2:13 p.m. April 5. A man attempted to leave a store with merchandise. When a store loss-prevention officer confronted the man, he yelled, pulled out a knife and fled empty-handed.

ASSAULTS

Centreville Rd., 9000 block, 10:15 p.m. April 5. Two men assaulted an employee who had attempted to escort them from a restaurant. They grabbed the employee’s portable metal detector and attempted to grab his gun, knocking it to the ground. The two fled in a vehicle, which hit two pedestrians, who were treated later for injuries. Two Manassas Park men, 29 and 32, were arrested.

Main St., 9400 block, 2 a.m. March 22. During a fight in a restaurant, two men hit another man on the head and knocked him down. The injured man was later transported to a hospital when he lost consciousness. A 24-year-old man was arrested.

PROSTITUTION

Phoenix Dr., 8600 block, 1:30 a.m. April 3. A 25-year-old Chantilly man was arrested and charged with prostitution. A 20-year-old Clifton man was arrested and charged with solicitation of prostitution and possession with intent to distribute marijuana.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Sumner Lake Blvd., 9300 block, and Gaiter St., 8300 block, 3:35 a.m. April 5. A GPS device, purses, a gym bag and books were stolen from three vehicles entered by breaking windows. When a man attempted to enter a fourth vehicle, the owner confronted him. The thief fled and the owner chased him. Several stolen items were recovered.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Eagle Ct., 5:24 p.m. April 7. Someone threw or hit a golf ball that struck a residence, breaking a window. A resident confronted two males in a golf cart, who refused to talk and left in the cart.

Holden Dr., 2:35 to 2:50 a.m. April 7. Cash was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.
