BRISTOW AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Lennice Way, 9700 block, 5 p.m. July 11 to 7:30 p.m. July 13. Two bikes were stolen from the garage of a residence entered through an open door.

DUMFRIES AREA
ASSAULTS

Sedgewick Pl., 2500 block, 2:49 a.m. June 27. During an argument, a woman hit a female acquaintance on the head several times with a glass bowl. The injured woman was treated at a hospital. A 51-year-old woman was arrested.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Detrick Trail, 3700 block, 11 p.m. July 9 to 7 a.m. July 10. Three purses were stolen from a residence entered through an open garage door.

Edgewood Dr., 16500 block, 12:01 to 8 a.m. July 13. A cash register and beverages were stolen from a pool concession stand.

MANASSAS AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Assateague Pl., 5500 block, noon July 3 to 7 p.m. July 12. Cash was stolen from a residence.

WOODBRIDGE AREA
ASSAULTS

Cuddy Loop, 14100 block, 11:27 a.m. July 13. During an argument at a residence on July 9, a male resident assaulted a female acquaintance. Four days later, the woman returned with two female acquaintances. The man pulled out a gun and assaulted the woman and one acquaintance. The third woman sprayed him with pepper. The women fled and called police. During an investigation, police found the woman’s dog dead in a bathtub. The man was treated for a head injury. A 31-year-old Woodbridge man was arrested.

Prince William Pkwy. and Jefferson Davis Hwy., 10 p.m. July 11. Two men hit a male pedestrian on the head with an object. The man lost consciousness. The men robbed him of a wallet and a cellphone. A 25-year-old man was arrested.

Research Ct., 2300 block, 9:45 a.m. July 10. During an argument at a business, a man hit a male co-worker several times with a large pipe. A 55-year-old Falls Church man was arrested.

CHILD CARE INCIDENTS

Marsala Ct., 2900 block, 8:40 a.m. July 10. A 4-year-old child was found walking alone outside. Police officers followed the child to her residence, where they found an infant and an adult relative asleep. A 34-year-old woman and a 40-year-old man, both of Woodbridge, were arrested.

WEAPONS

Flintlock Terr., 15200 block, 1:48 a.m. July 14. A male motorist fired a weapon at an apartment building, damaging a wall and a bedroom window. No injuries were reported.

Woodway Pl., 4600 block, 10:30 p.m. July 11 to 7 a.m. July 12. A weapon was fired at a residence, damaging a bathroom. No injuries were reported.

ROBBERIES

Potomac Mills Cir., 2700 block, 11:44 a.m. July 10. A man confronted a woman inside a mall, then walked away. He confronted her again in a parking lot, then grabbed her phone and fled after she attempted to call police. A 22-year-old man was arrested.

Prince William Pkwy., 5000 block, 9:45 p.m. July 15. A man implying he had a weapon robbed a convenience store of cash.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Jefferson Davis Hwy., 14500 block, 7:30 a.m. July 14. Clothes were stolen from a business entered through an unlocked window.

John Diskin Cir., 15800 block, 4 p.m. July 10 to 4 p.m. July 11. An attempt was made to enter a residence by damaging a front door.

Taft Ct., 4300 block, midnight to 6 a.m. July 13. A purse was stolen from a residence entered through an open garage door.
