Chamber to host legislative breakfast Wednesday

The Prince William County Chamber of Commerce’s annual legislative kickoff breakfast will be from 8 to 10 a.m. Wednesday at Old Hickory Golf Club, 11921 Chanceford Dr., Woodbridge.

County delegates to the Virginia General Assembly will discuss policy priorities and business concerns. The chamber will also present legislators with its 2013 policy agenda.

Manassas residents can get $10 credit for planting trees

Manassas residents can receive a $10 credit on their utility bills if they plant one of 40 tree species as part of the national Tree Power Program.

The nationwide public power program seeks to beautify communities, increase housing values and improve air quality.
