A woman was sexually assaulted Monday morning on the Howard University campus in Northwest Washington, D.C. police said.
The woman was attacked in the 2600 block of 6th Street, near Cramton Auditorium, when a man walked up behind her and then assaulted her about 8 a.m., officials said in a statement.
Police described the suspect as a black man between ages 18 to 20, with a dark complexion. Officials said he is about 6 feet tall, with a slim to medium build. He’s also described as wearing a white t-shirt and black and white shorts, which may have been swimming trunks.
