The government plans to purchase a Logan Circle Victorian used as the Korean embassy in Washington at the turn of the 20th century.

The Korean Embassy, circa 1890 to 1903, had a stately presence on Washington’s Logan Circle. Korea lost the 6,300-square-foot mansion to the Japanese in 1910 when Japan effectively took control of Korea after the Russo-Japanese War.
