HUNTINGTOWN AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Foxfire Lane, March 16. Scrap aluminum, a propane tank and a spreader were stolen.

LUSBY AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Red Cloud Rd., 8:30 p.m., March 17 to 7:15 p.m., March 18. A break-in at a residence was reported. Nothing appeared to be missing.

Rousby Hall Rd., March 9 to 15. A street sign was stolen. Floodlights directed at a sign were damaged.

Village Center Way, March 15 to 16. A cash register was stolen from a nail salon.

PRINCE FREDERICK AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Mac’s Hollow Rd., 3:46 p.m., March 16. A large quantity of coins was stolen from a residence.

ST. LEONARD AREA
ARSON

St. Leonard Rd., 6:35 a.m., March 15. A barn was set on fire.

St. Leonard Rd., 5:45 p.m., March 16. Two small fires were started inside a barn.

LA PLATA AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Charles St., 10800 block, 2:39 p.m., March 14. Scrap metal was stolen from a garage. A Newburg man, 20, and a Hollywood man, 18, were charged with burglary and theft.

Trinity Church Rd., 10800 block, 1:30 a.m., March 18. A laptop computer was stolen from a vehicle, and a bicycle was stolen from a nearby location. Two 17-year-old males were charged with burglary, theft and with being rogue and vagabond.

WALDORF AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Crain Hwy., 2400 block, 12:01 a.m., March 19. Cash was stolen from a car dealership. Break-ins also were reported at two other nearby auto-sales businesses, but nothing was reported missing.

Mattawoman, 3:30 to 7:15 p.m., March 19. A spare tire was stolen from a vehicle at a commuter lot. An unsuccessful attempt was made to steal a spare tire from a vehicle parked nearby.

VANDALISM

St. Ignatius Dr., 4:25 a.m., March 18. Several vehicles were damaged. A 14-year-old and a 15-year-old were charged with destruction of property.

ROBBERIES

Business Park Dr., 11700 block, 12:20 a.m., March 17. A male demanded cash from some teenagers at gunpoint and fired shots when the victims refused to comply. The gunmen then ran away. A male, 16, has been shot in the torso and was treated at a hospital for injuries that were not life-threatening.

Davis Rd., 4 p.m., March 9. A student was attacked on high school property and robbed of his cellphone. A 15-year-old boy was charged with strong-arm robbery and second-degree assault. No serious injuries were reported.

Leonardtown Rd., 3300 block, 11:10 p.m., March 20. A gunman robbed a convenience store of cash.

St. Mary’s County

DAMERON AREA
SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Dameron, March 20. A man was arrested for sexually assaulting two minors. A Dameron man, 32, was charged with second-degree rape, two counts of second-degree sex offense, seven counts of third-degree sex offense and a continuing course of sexual misconduct with a minor.

CALIFORNIA AREA
SEXUAL ASSAULTS

California, March 20. A 46-year-old California man was arrested for sexually assaulting a minor in incidents alleged to have taken place over five years. Charges included a continuing course of sexual abuse to a minor.

LEONARDTOWN AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Leonardtown, March 4 to 10. Flags on display outdoors were stolen from several locations.

LEXINGTON PARK AREA
ASSAULTS

Hilton Dr., 12:19 p.m., March 10. During an argument, a man attacked an acquaintance. A 41-year-old Lexington Park man was charged with second-degree assault.
