Calvert County

These were among reports received by the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police. CHESAPEAKE BEACH

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

10th St., Sept. 13. Registration and insurance cards were stolen from a vehicle.

C St., Sept. 9 to Sept. 10. A Global Positioning System unit was stolen from a vehicle entered by smashing a window.

Route 260, 2:45 p.m. Sept. 13. A wallet was stolen from a purse in an unlocked drawer in a desk at an elementary school.

HUNTINGTOWN AREA

Plum Point Rd., 2:15 p.m. Sept. 13. A rifle was stolen from a residence.

LUSBY AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Marina Overlook, 2 a.m. Sept. 10. Cash and a radio were among property stolen from two vehicles.

VANDALISM

White Sands Blvd., 1:38 a.m. Sept. 16. A vehicle window was shattered by a beer bottle.

NORTH BEACH AREA

VANDALISM

Frederick Ave., Sept. 9 to Sept. 10. A vehicle window was smashed.

OWINGS AREA

VANDALISM

Chesapeake Beach Rd., 8:45 a.m.-noon, Sept., 14. A window of an unlocked vehicle was smashed.

Marshall Hall Rd., Sept. 14. Two men robbed a liquor store at gunpoint.

NANJEMOY AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Port Tobacco Rd., Aug. 12 to Sept. 12. Guns were among property stolen from a residence.

WALDORF AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Mall Cir., 2:30-9:30 p.m. Sept. 18. Packages were stolen from a vehicle parked at a mall.

Marshall Rd., 7-11 a.m. Sept. 18. Guns and jewelry were among property stolen from a residence.

Mattawoman Beantown Rd., 5:40 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. Sept. 13. Property was stolen from three vehicles parked at a commuter lot.

Scotch Hills Pl., 8:43 p.m. Sept. 14. An attempt was made to enter a residence by kicking in the front door.

St. Mary’s County

LEONARDTOWN AREA

ASSAULTS

Blake Creek Rd., Sept. 16. During an argument, a man threatened a female acquaintance at knifepoint. A Lexington Park man, 46, was charged with second-degree assault.

VANDALISM

Hollywood Rd., Sept. 19. Several road signs were damaged by graffiti stickers. A 20-year-old Hollywood man was arrested on several charges of malicious destruction of property.

LEXINGTON PARK AREA

ASSAULTS

Three Notch Rd., Sept. 18. During an argument, a man struck an acquaintance in the face and body with a door he was pushing against. A Lexington Park man,26, was charged with second-degree assault.
