These were among reports received by the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and Maryland State Police. CHESAPEAKE BEACH
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

12th St., Oct. 17 to 18. An industrial-size leaf blower was stolen from a municipal work truck.

VANDALISM

27th St., 4:57 p.m. Oct. 21. A mattress was set on fire near a shed, causing damage to the outside of the shed.

DUNKIRK AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Cavalier Dr., Oct. 10 to 11. A fanny pack containing cash and credit cards was stolen from an unlocked vehicle at a residence.

HUNTINGTOWN AREA
VANDALISM

Lower Marlboro Rd., Oct. 19 to 20. A vehicle window was smashed.

LUSBY AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Crystal Rock Rd., 8 a.m. Oct. 15. A break-in occurred at a residence. Two people were found in the home were using a long extension cord to steal electrical power from a neighboring residence. A man, 31 , and a woman, 36, were charged with burglary and one count of destruction of property.

Robin Ct., Oct. 10 to 19. A Suzuki dirt bike was stolen from a shed at a residence.

Sidewinder Lane, 11:44 p.m. Oct. 19. Responding to a report of a suspicious vehicle at a residence, police arrested two people in the home. A South Carolina man, 29, and a Lusby woman, 33, were charged with burglary, illegal possession of narcotics, and possession of drug paraphernalia. The registration sticker on the vehicle had been reported stolen. An investigation was continuing.

Stirrup Lane, Oct. 14 to 17. An iPod was stolen from a vehicle.

Wildcat Trail, 2 a.m. to 5 p.m. Oct. 14. Stereo equipment was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

VANDALISM

Clubhouse Dr., Oct. 8 to 9. A picnic table was broken near a ballfield.

NORTH BEACH AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Eighth St., 8:26 p.m. Oct. 14. An attempt was made to break into a vehicle by removing protective stripping. Nothing was reported missing.

VANDALISM

Erie St., 4:44 a.m. Oct. 20. Two devices described as Molotov cocktails were ignited and thrown near a residence. Yard damage was reported.

PRINCE FREDERICK AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Prince Frederick, 8:41 p.m. Oct. 16. During an event at a motel, a bank-deposit bag was stolen from a registration table.

SOLOMONS AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Solomons Island Rd., 1:47 p.m. Oct. 17. Prescription medication was stolen from a purse.

Poplar St., 7700 block, 10:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 24. An air-conditioner was stolen from a window at a residence.

COBB ISLAND AREA
VANDALISM

Cypress Dr., Oct. 9 to 23. In two separate incidents, a screen was cut from a window at a residence and a rock was thrown a window at a residence.

HUGHESVILLE AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Dillon Ct., 6800 block, 12:05 p.m. Oct. 24. A landscaping brick was thrown through a window, and screens to two back doors were removed at a residence. Nothing was reported missing.

Chicamuxen Rd., 5300 block, 3:30 a.m. Oct. 19. A wallet was stolen from an unlocked vehicle.

Valley Rd., 6400 block, 11:45 a.m. to 5:12 p.m. Oct. 14. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by throwing a rock through a window.

Port Tobacco Rd., 10:10 p.m. Oct. 25. An unoccupied trailer was set on fire.

NEWBURG AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Matthews Manor Rd., 15500 block, Oct. 16 to 23. A break-in occurred at a residence. The premises were ransacked, but nothing was reported missing.

WALDORF AREA
ROBBERIES

Waldorf, Oct. 17. A Waldorf man, 19, was charged with armed robbery, robbery, first- and second-degree assault and theft in connection with an incident near Pinefield Park on Aug. 26.

Wilson Rd., 6:55 p.m. Oct. 17. Two males threatened a woman and robbed her of cash. Her coat was damaged during the incident.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Charter Oak Ct., 12000 block, 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Oct. 24. Video game systems and bottles of liquor were stolen from a residence entered through a back door found to have a faulty lock.

Gallant Green Rd., 5000 block, 1:45 to 3:45 p.m. Oct. 24. Jewelry and a computer were stolen from a residence.

Mall Cir., 3 p.m. Oct. 10. A credit card was stolen from a purse at a hair salon and used to make unauthorized purchases. A Brandywine woman, 40, was charged with theft.

Martha Pl., 3300 block, Oct. 14 to 16. Property was stolen from a vacant residence.

Mattawoman Dr., 12000 block, Oct. 16 to 17. Batteries were stolen from several vehicles in a fenced-in lot.

Pin Oak Dr., 1600 block, 1600 block, 5:20 p.m. Oct. 23. A shotgun, jewelry and a computer were stolen from a residence.

VANDALISM

Woodside Pl., 300 block, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Oct. 17. A large rock was thrown through a window at a residence.

DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY

Callas Way, 7:49 a.m. Oct. 24. The paint finish of a vehicle was scratched. A Great Mills man, 24, was charged with malicious destruction of property.
