Calvert County

These were among reports received by the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police. CHESAPEAKE BEACH

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Chesapeake Beach area, Jan. 12. Two Chesapeake Beach men, ages 19 and 20, were arrested in connection with 14 recent vehicle break-ins in the area. An investigation of these and other thefts resulted in the arrest of four Chesapeake Beach and North Beach males, ages 12 to 16, on charges that included thefts from automobiles, burglary and malicious destruction of property. LUSBY AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Crazy Horse Trail, Jan. 9 to Jan. 16. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

H.G. Trueman Rd., 7:08 p.m. Jan. 16. Someone entered a residence by breaking a basement window. Property was moved around, but nothing was reported missing.

Poplar Dr., Dec. 15 to Jan. 16. Someone entered a residence by kicking in a door. Nothing was reported missing.

Sitting Bull Trail, Dec. 24 to Jan. 14. A heat pump, a gas-powered blower and two gas cans were stolen from a yard and a shed at a residence.

Sollers Wharf Rd., 2:41 p.m. Jan. 14. Metal scaffolding was stolen from a residence. A Mechanicsville man, 27, was charged with theft.

OWINGS AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Keith Lane, Jan. 11 to Jan. 14. Catalytic converters were stolen from two vehicles parked at a business and from a third vehicle parked nearby.

PRINCE FREDERICK AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Woodview Lane, Jan. 15 to Jan. 16. Checks and cash were stolen from a purse at a residence.

ST. LEONARD AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Stone Ct., Jan. 4 to Jan. 16. Jewelry was stolen from a residence.

SUNDERLAND AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Routes 2/4, Jan. 17. A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked at a commuter lot.

Charles County

INDIAN HEAD AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Riverside Run Dr., 7:45 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. Jan. 23. Electronic items, jewelry and a pair of boots were stolen from a residence.

MARBURY AREA

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Sweetmans Rd., 4200 block, 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Jan. 17. An MP3 player, copper wiring and a heat pump were stolen from a residence.

WALDORF AREA

ROBBERIES

Tanglewood Dr., 2000 block, Jan. 23. An 18-year-old man and a 20-year-old woman, both of Fredericksburg, were arrested and charged with strong-arm robbery and second-degree assault in connection with an incident in which a teenager was robbed of shoes.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Champlain Ct., 4800 block, 7:24 p.m. Jan. 20. An attempt was made to enter a residence through a back door. Nothing was reported missing.

Guilcrest Dr., 3100 block, 1:30 to 7 p.m. Jan. 17. An attempt was made to enter a residence by removing a screen from a window. Nothing was reported missing.

Guilford Dr., 3200 block, 12:21 p.m. Jan. 17. An attempt was made to enter a residence by removing a screen from a front window. A man was seen fleeing empty-handed.

High Timber Ct., 3200 block, 7 a.m. to 6:45 p.m. Jan. 22. Jewelry and cash were stolen from a residence entered by kicking in a back door.

Northgate Pl., 3900 block, 2:25 a.m. to 6 p.m. Jan. 21. Video game systems and a laptop computer were stolen from a residence.

Robinson Pl., 2500 block, 12:01 to 7 a.m. Jan. 18. Stereo equipment was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.

University Dr., 400 block, 11:20 to 11:40 a.m. Jan. 21. Jewelry was stolen from a residence entered by breaking a window.

MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

St. Charles Pkwy., 3000 block, 12:51 p.m. A vehicle that had been reported stolen was recovered on the side of a road, where it was found overturned. Two men were seen fleeing from the vehicle to a nearby apartment building. Two Waldorf men, ages 19 and 22, were arrested.

WHITE PLAINS AREA

ROBBERIES

Housely Pl., 10000 block, 10:49 a.m. Jan. 23. A man armed with a gun approached a man entering a residence and robbed him of keys to a truck that he had just parked. The vehicle was recovered a short time later on Red Horse Court. An investigation was ongoing.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Stoddert Ave., 1000 block, 7:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 23. Cash, a video game system and two guns were stolen from a residence.

St. Mary’s County

GREAT MILLS AREA

ARSON

Great Mills, Jan. 22. A Great Mills woman, 61, was charged with first-degree arson in connection with a fire set at her residence Nov. 5.
