Ninth St., 10:15 a.m.-12:15 p.m. July 3. A red Adirondack chair was stolen from a residence.
Calvert Towne Rd., July 2 to July 3. A radio was stolen from a vehicle. The vehicle’s hood was damaged.
Shannon Ave., July 2 to July 3. A 1988 Ford Ranger truck was stolen.
Virgo Rd., June 28 to June 29. Electronic items and jewelry were stolen from a residence. A rock was used to break a window to gain entry.
Bryantown, 1:58 p.m. July 3. Two men were seen attempting to dismantle an air conditioner in the back of a truck. An investigation revealed that the air conditioner had been stolen from Anne Arundel County. Charges were pending.
Fallen Timber Way, 5000 block, 2:40 a.m. July 2. Two men were seen allegedly trying to steal tires from a vehicle. When officers arrived, two men fled on foot after crashing a vehicle into a guardrail. A District man, 27, who was found with burglary tools, tires and hubcaps, was charged with two counts of theft and one count of rogue and vagabond.
Mattawoman Creek Rd., 4300 block, June 27 to July 1. Appliances were stolen from a vacant house.
Golden Eagle Pl., 3:51 p.m. July 9. Four improvised explosive devices were detonated near a walking path. Two more devices that had not been detonated were found.
Marshall Rd., 7:30 a.m. July 5. An improvised explosive device was found on the doorstep of a home in the Carrington neighborhood. A boy, 14, was charged with the manufacture, possession and distribution of a destructive device.
Crain Hwy., 4300 block, 4:08 a.m. July 2. Men were seen stealing tires from a vehicle. Arriving officers saw two men fleeing. A D.C. man, 19, was charged with two counts of theft and one count of rogue and vagabond.
California, 1:12 a.m. July 10. During an investigation of a trespassing complaint at a bar, a man assaulted a police officer. A Lusby man, 26, was charged with assault, disorderly conduct and resisting arrest.
Callaway, July 8. A grocery store employee observed two women putting groceries into their purses and leaving the store. Two Lexington Park women, 24 and 41, were charged with theft of less than $100.
Redgate Farm Lane, July 6. A driver ran a vehicle into the back of another vehicle twice. The other driver stopped and called police. A Leonardtown man, 55, was charged with second-degree assault, possession of drug paraphernalia and multiple traffic citations.
Water View Dr., July 7. A woman repeatedly sent text messages to an acquaintance that threatened violence and also threatened arson to a residence. A Bushwood woman, 41, was charged with the threat of arson and telephone misuse.
