Pinewood Ct., 6:30 to 9 p.m. July 30. A residence was entered, and a window screen was stolen.
26th St., 1:27 p.m. Aug. 3. A man reported that his daughter had taken his vehicle without his permission.
Perrywood Lane, 1:30 to 7 a.m. Aug. 4. A window was broken on a vehicle, and a wallet was stolen.
Holland Cliffs Rd., 7:14 p.m. July 29. A man who was seen attempting to steal tools from a shed at a residence fled when confronted by a witness. During the investigation, officers discovered that the home had been entered and that jewelry had been stolen.
Parran Dr., Aug. 1 to Aug. 2. Cash, a watch and credit card were stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at a residence.
PRINCE FREDERICK AREA
Homeland Ct., 2:29 p.m. Aug. 2. Tools and a container of coins were stolen from an outbuilding.
Leitches Wharf Rd., July 30 to 31. A mailbox was stolen
Main St., 9:48 a.m. Aug. 2. During a traffic stop, a woman had a stolen registration sticker on a license plate. A Lusby woman, 42, admitted to stealing the sticker.
Sark Ct., 8:35 p.m. Aug. 1. A man stole $74 worth of body wash from a grocery store and fled. A Prince Frederick man, 45, was charged with theft of less than $100, possession of marijuana, negligent driving, driving on a suspended license and driving while under the influence of alcohol.
Mallard Point Rd., July 30 to 31. Several mailboxes were damaged.
Route 2, 2:49 P.M. July 30. Property was stolen from several vehicles at the park and ride.

LA PLATA AREA
Little Creek Lane, 7 p.m. Aug. 5. A woman threatened two women at knifepoint. A La Plata woman, 19, was charged with two counts of first- and second-degree assault and reckless endangerment.
Route 301, 3:30 p.m. Aug. 8. During a traffic stop, officers arrested a man in connection with the abduction of a 5-year-old boy from Greensboro, N.C. A warrant was issued for the Greensboro man, 42, charging him with first- and second-degree child abduction and assault by strangulation. North Carolina officials have initiated extradition proceedings.
Crain Hwy., 6200 block, 9:47 p.m. July 28. A man at a convenience store asked a clerk for change for a dollar and then jumped over the counter, stole cash and fled. A man of no fixed address, 50, was charged with robbery.
Crain Hwy., 3:45 a.m. Aug. 2. Officers saw a man pushing a trash can down a roadway. When they approached the man, he fled into the woods. The trash can contained auto parts that may have been stolen.
Arthurs Ct., 4 p.m. July 28. Two men attempted to break into a shed at a residence The men fled after the homeowner yelled at them. Nothing was reported missing.
PORT TOBACCO AREA
Rose Hill Rd., July 25 to July 30. A riding lawn mower was stolen from an unlocked shed.
Crain Hwy., 2100 block, 1:15 a.m. Aug. 3. During a fight at a club between a security guard and a group of patrons, the security guard was stabled multiple times. A District man, 21, was charged with attempted first-degree murder, first- and second-degree assault, wearing and carrying a dangerous weapon with intent to injure, and concealing a dangerous weapon. The security guard was flown to a hospital with injuries that were not life-threatening.
Gallery Pl., 3000 block, 1:33 a.m. July 29. A woman heard a loud noise at the door of her home and saw a man trying to break in. The man fled when he saw the woman on the phone. A Waldorf man, 45, was charged with fourth-degree burglary.
Leonardtown Rd., 3000 block, 7:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m. July 31. A window on a vehicle was broken, and a duffel bag was stolen.
Manning Ct., 3200 block, 10:06 p.m. Aug. 4. A homeowner found a window at her residence had been damaged and a door was open. When she entered the home, she found a man hiding in an upstairs room. A man, 20, of no fixed address, was charged with third- and fourth-degree burglary and destruction of property.
Post Office Rd., 1 to 4 p.m. July 31. A window on a vehicle was broken; two purses were stolen.
Prestancia Pl., 4600 block, July 31 to Aug. 1. Four bicycles were stolen. Helmets and one of the bicycles were found in the area.
WHITE PLAINS AREA
Theodore Green Blvd., 9 to 10:30 a.m. Aug. 2. Four windows on vehicles were shattered, and purses, wallets and cellphone were stolen.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
Londonberry Lane, 4700 block, 7:30 p.m. Aug. 4. An object was shot through a front door at a residence. The door and an interior wall were damaged.

Church Dr., Aug. 6. During an argument, a man assaulted an acquaintance because she shoved him and damaged property. A California man, 23, was charged with second-degree assault.
Iverson Dr., Aug. 2. During an argument, a man assaulted an acquaintance. A California man, 28, was charged with second-degree assault.
Barringer Ct., Aug. 2. A man was found inside a vacant residence without permission. A California man, 48, was charged with fourth-degree burglary.
Three Notch Rd., 3 p.m. Aug. 4. A 2012 Hyundai Sonata, that had been stolen between Aug. 1 and Aug. 2 was found. Investigation revealed a credit card in the vehicle had been used at an ATM. On Aug. 6, a St. Inigoes man, 43, was charged with unlawful taking of a motor vehicle, theft of less than $1,000 and credit card theft.
LEXINGTON PARK AREA
Ritz Dr., Aug. 1. During an argument, a man stabbed an acquaintance in the wrist with a screwdriver. A Lexington Park man, 28, was charged with first- and second-degree assault.
Mechanicsville Rd., Aug. 3. During an argument, a man attempted to force an acquaintance back into a vehicle, causing injury to the acquaintance. A Forestville man, 30, was charged with second-degree assault.
Three Notch Rd., Aug. 6. During an argument, a man assaulted an acquaintance. A Ridge man, 33, was charged with second-degree assault.
