B St., 10:39 a.m. Dec. 27. Gasoline was stolen from a vehicle’s gas tank.
Chesapeake Beach, Dec. 23 to Dec. 24. Christmas gifts, cash and other items were stolen from vehicles parked in the area of Bristol Court, Bristol Drive, Holderness Lane and Charing Court.
Karen Dr., Dec. 18 to Dec. 19. A purse, a camera and other items were stolen from a vehicle parked at a home.
Lacrosse Ct., Dec. 27. A woman saw a passenger in a passing vehicle steal her outgoing mail. She also saw the vehicle stop at other mailboxes.

Plum Point Rd., 9:35 a.m. Dec. 27. A driver’s window was shattered by an unknown object as the vehicle was moving.
Rousby Hall Rd., 6:50-8:50 p.m. Dec. 19. A purse was stolen from a vehicle parked at a high school.
Sagebrush Dr., Dec. 20 to Dec. 21. Jewelry was stolen from a home.
Olivet Rd., Dec. 20. Six Christmas cards were opened and left in a mailbox at a home.
NORTH BEACH AREA
North Beach, Dec. 23 to Dec. 24. A stainless-steel commercial-grade sink and an electric wall range were stolen from behind a firehouse.
PORT REPUBLIC AREA
Maryland Ave., Dec. 20 to Dec. 21. A Global Positioning System unit was stolen from a parked vehicle.
PRINCE FREDERICK AREA
Central Square Dr., 5:43 p.m. Dec. 18. A dry cleaning store was robbed at gunpoint.
ST. LEONARD AREA
Douglas St., Dec. 23 to Dec. 24. A gift card and merchandise were stolen from two vehicles parked at a home.
DESTRUCTION OF PROPERTY
Long Beach Rd., 12:08 p.m. Dec. 22. Someone threw objects at moving vehicles, damaging one. Four suspects have been identified.
Hillside and Long Beach roads, Dec. 24. Gift cards were removed from Christmas cards, after which the cards were thrown into a road.
Sunderland, Dec. 20. A male, 17, was arrested in connection with several commercial armed robberies in the area and one in Prince Frederick. He was charged with two counts of first- and second-degree assault, one count of armed robbery, one count of use of a firearm in a violent crime and one count of theft of less than $1,000.
Lake Ridge Dr., 8:15 a.m. Dec. 20. During an investigation, 55 dogs were rescued from poor conditions and taken to the Tri-County Animal Shelter.

Garrett Ave., 3:45 a.m. Dec. 30. A man, 19, at a hospital emergency room reported that he had been shot as he was leaving a party in Fairway Village. The man was shot in the hand. He refused to cooperate with officers regarding the shooting.
Crain Hwy., 6:46 p.m. Dec. 21. During a traffic stop, four vehicle occupants were arrested and charged in connection with an armed robbery in King George, Va., that day. They were charged with theft and possession of a gun. Additional charges were pending.
Crain Hwy., 2400 block, Dec. 27 to Jan. 1. A vehicle exhaust, stereos, televisions and other items were stolen from a storage lot.
Maddox Ct., 3400 block, Dec. 31. A heating and air conditioning unit was stolen from a residence.
Mall Cir., 9:08 p.m. Dec. 23. After a report of a theft, officers attempted a traffic stop, but the vehicle’s driver initially refused to pull over. Tools and a large amount of stolen copper tubing were found in the back of the truck. A Waldorf man, 28, was charged with theft.
Tulip Tree Ct., 3400 block, Jan. 1 to Jan. 2. Four tires and rims were stolen from a vehicle. A Global Positioning System unit was also stolen.
Huntington Cir., Dec. 22 to Dec. 23. Six mailboxes were rummaged through; mail was scattered in the area. Investigators said someone had been looking for holiday cards containing gift cards or cash.
Pointe Meadow Ct., 15000 block, Dec. 24. Mail was stolen from two homes. Christmas cards were opened and found a short time later near Woodville Road.

Avenue, Dec. 21. A man pushed an acquaintance into a bathroom wall and onto a bed. An Avenue man, 34, was charged with second-degree assault.
Hidden Valley Lane, 4:13 p.m. Dec. 18. During an altercation, a man assaulted an acquaintance. A Hollywood man, 47, was charged with second-degree assault.
Breton View Dr., 4:51 p.m. Dec. 22. During an altercation, a woman assaulted an acquaintance. A Leonardtown woman, 24, was charged with second-degree assault.
Leonardtown, Dec. 19. detention center inmate grabbed another inmate by the arm and attempted to hit him in the face. A Lexington Park man, 28, was charged with second-degree assault.
Leonardtown, Dec. 29. A woman at a hospital reported she had been sexually assaulted by a houseguest while she was under the influence of prescription medication. A Lexington Park man, 40, was charged with second-degree sex offense.
LEXINGTON PARK AREA
Lexington Park, Dec. 19. During an argument, a man hit an acquaintance in the face and charged another acquaintance with a bat when the person attempted to intervene. A Lexington Park man, 26, was charged with two counts of second-degree assault.
Lexington Park, Dec. 22. A man pushed and attempted to choke an acquaintance. A Lexington Park man, 40, was charged with second-degree assault.
TALL TIMBERS AREA
Tall Timbers, Dec. 21. During an argument, a woman punched an acquaintance and scratched the person’s forearm. A Tall Timbers woman, 44, was charged with second-degree assault.
