Beaver Dam Rd., Jan. 19. Jewelry was stolen from a home.

DUNKIRK AREA

Maplewood Dr., Jan 8 to Jan. 16. Nail guns, a generator and a carving kit were stolen from a shed behind a house.

HUNTINGTOWN AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Route 4, 9:07 p.m. Jan. 17. A police officer sitting in his cruiser saw a man with a flashlight looking into vehicles, after which he then saw the man inside a vehicle. A Prince Frederick man, 26, was charged with rogue and vagabond and possession of burglary tools.

Hoofbeat Trail, Jan. 13. Property in a home was stolen and damaged.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

MF Bowen Rd., 6:16 p.m. Jan. 13. A house was entered through a rear window.

ST. LEONARD AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Patuxent Dr., 5:51 p.m. Jan. 15. Heating fuel was stolen from a tank.

Rose Ct., Jan. 15 to Jan. 17. A circular saw and an air compressor were stolen from a vehicle.

BRYANS ROAD AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Heather Dr., 6900 block, Jan. 18. A man posted four chrome tire rims for sale on a Web site. Someone responded to the post and indicated that he was interested. A short time later, the rims were stolen. The incident was under investigation.

LA PLATA AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Ashland Rd., Jan. 18 to Jan. 19. A stereo and four tires and rims were taken from a vehicle.

WALDORF AREA
ROBBERIES

Heathcote Rd., 3000 block, 12:04 a.m. Jan. 19. Two teenagers were robbed at gunpoint of cellphones and cash. The robbers fled in a vehicle.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Holly Auto Center Lane, Jan. 20. Electronic items were stolen from a vehicle parked near an auto repair shop.

Sherman Rd., 100 block, 3 to 7:30 p.m. Jan. 20. Several guns, a computer and some games were taken from a home.

Washington Sq., 12000 block, Jan. 18 to Jan. 20. An attempt was made to steal a stereo from a vehicle parked near an auto repair shop.

LEONARDTOWN AREA
ASSAULTS

Leonardtown, Jan. 16. During a fight at a detention center, an inmate threw a cup of liquid on a fellow inmate. A man, 49, was charged with second-degree assault of an inmate.

Leonardtown, Jan. 21. During a basketball game at a detention center, an inmate hit another inmate in the face. A Clinton man, 38, was charged with second-degree assault of an inmate.

LEXINGTON PARK AREA
ASSAULTS

Lexington Park, Jan. 19. During an argument, a man shoved a female acquaintance against a shower door. The man followed the woman into a bedroom, forced her to the floor and got on her back. The woman was seven months pregnant. A Lusby man, 25, was charged with first- and second-degree assault.

Midway Dr., Jan. 21. During an argument, a man pushed an acquaintance onto a bed, and they struggled, causing injury. A Lexington Park man, 27, was charged with second-degree assault.

MECHANICSVILLE AREA
SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Mechanicsville, Jan. 19. A woman, 19, was at a party at a home when she was sexually assaulted by a man, who then fled. A Mechanicsville man, 18, was charged with second-degree rape.

ASSAULTS

Mechanicsville, Jan. 19. During an argument, a man punched an acquaintance in the face and burned the acquaintance with a cigarette. The man also grabbed a juvenile by the neck. A Mechanicsville man, 33, was charged with second-degree assault and child abuse and second-degree assault by a custodian.

WILDEWOOD AREA
ASSAULTS

Three Notch Rd., Jan. 22. While being arrested in connection with a protective order, a woman allegedly kicked a deputy in the face. A Ridge woman, 23, was charged with second-degree assault of a law enforcement officer, violation of a protective order and resisting arrest.
