DUNKIRK AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Route 4, 3:06 p.m. Feb. 27. Surveying equipment was stolen.

Route 4, 3:29 a.m. Feb. 24. A flat-screen television and several phones were stolen from a store.

HUNTINGTOWN AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Holland Cliff Rd., 9:40 a.m. Feb. 28. Jewelry was stolen from a home.

LUSBY AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Cove Point Rd., 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Feb. 28. Coins were stolen from a home.

Tongue Cove Dr., 7:58 p.m. Feb. 24. A handgun, a safe, credit cards, prescription medication and cash were stolen from a home.

OWINGS AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Lake Shore Dr., March 3 to March 4. A window of a vehicle was broken, and a wallet was taken.

PRINCE FREDERICK AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Duke St., Feb. 28 to March 3. A shed was broken into. Nothing was reported missing.

Jameson Ct., 8 p.m. March 2. An attempt was made to kick open the front door of a house.

WALDORF AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Crain Hwy., 3300 block, 2:45 a.m. March 4. Glass in the front door of a store was broken.

Paul Mellon Ct., 100 block, March 3 to March 4. A window was broken at a business, which was ransacked. Nothing was reported missing.

Tahoe Pl., 4000 block, 2:49 a.m. March 6. Wheels and rims were stolen from a vehicle.

St. Mary’s County

California, Feb. 22. A woman bit an acquaintance. A California woman, 34, was charged with second-degree assault.

California, Feb. 22. During an argument, a man punched an acquaintance in the face. A Leonardtown man, 40, was charged with second-degree assault.

CALLAWAY AREA
ASSAULTS

Callaway, 12:14 a.m. March 4. A man assaulted an acquaintance at a tavern. A Lexington Park man, 41, was charged with second-degree assault and violation of a protective order.

CHAPTICO AREA
VANDALISM

Aviation Yacht Club Rd., Feb. 28. A sign at a golf course was damaged with spray paint.

GREAT MILLS AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Coronado Dr., March 2. Several window screens at a home were removed.

Leonardtown, Feb. 21. An inmate at a detention center assaulted another inmate. A Brandywine man, 37, was charged with second-degree assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Leonardtown, Feb. 28. Cash was stolen from a fast-food restaurant.

SEXUAL ASSAULTS

Black Creek Rd., March 1. During an investigation of a traffic accident, it was learned that a driver had reportedly been sexually assaulted before the accident. The investigation was continuing.

ASSAULTS

Lexington Park, Feb. 28. During an argument, someone choked an acquaintance.

Lexington Park, March 1. During an argument, a woman assaulted an acquaintance.

Lexington Park, March 3. During an argument, a man hit an acquaintance on the head with a metal trash can. A Lexington Park man, 42, was charged with second-degree assault.

Lexington Park, March 5. During an argument, a woman assaulted an acquaintance. A Lexington Park woman, 30, was charged with second-degree assault.

VANDALISM

Mayfair Lane, Feb. 25 to Feb. 28. A vehicle was damaged with spray paint.

LOVEVILLE AREA
ASSAULTS

Parson’s Mill Rd., March 2. During an argument, a man forced an acquaintance onto a couch and strangled the person. A Loveville man, 45, was charged with second-degree assault.

MECHANICSVILLE AREA
ASSAULTS

Jones Rd., March 3. During an argument, a woman hit an acquaintance in the face with a piece of wood. A Mechanicsville woman, 37, was charged with second-degree assault.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Mechanicsville, Feb. 27. A side door at a home was forced open. Nothing was reported missing.

Mechanicville, Feb. 28. A vacant house was forcibly entered.

ST. MARY’S CITY AREA
ASSAULTS

Point Lookout Rd., Feb. 28. A man assaulted an acquaintance at a home. A St. Mary’s City man, 53, was charged with second-degree assault.

WILDEWOOD AREA
VANDALISM

Larkspur St., 4 p.m. Feb. 27. Someone shot a window at a house in a subdivision.
