DUNKIRK AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Morning Glory Lane, 5:18 p.m. April 4. Jewelry was stolen from a home.

Overlook Ct., 4100 block, 6:18 p.m. April 2. Property was taken from a safe at a home.

HUNTINGTOWN AREA
VANDALISM

Huntsman Dr., midnight to 1 a.m. April 6. Several dozen eggs were thrown at a home.

LUSBY AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Golden West Way, 11:48 a.m. April 2. A resident arrived home and saw a man inside, went to his vehicle and called police. Nothing was reported stolen.

Red Cloud Rd., 12:30 to 3:30 p.m. April 2. A wallet was stolen from a vehicle parked at a home.

Roundup Rd., April 1. A package was stolen in the daytime after it was delivered to a home.

White Sands Dr., 10 p.m. April 2. Someone was seen standing on a ladder looking into a shed at a home. A window was damaged, but nothing was reported stolen.

PRINCE FREDERICK AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Route 231, April 1 to April 2. A vending machine at a park was damaged, and cash was stolen.

VANDALISM

Old Field Lane, 7:35 p.m. April 5. While being arrested in connection with a field sobriety test, a man broke a computer in a police vehicle. A Prince Frederick man, 44, was charged with destruction of property and driving under the influence of alcohol.

Route 2/4, 7:30 to 11:30 p.m. April 4. The surface of a vehicle parked at a department store was damaged with a sharp object.

ST. LEONARD AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Calvert Ave., April 5. Copper piping was stolen from a home.

Regency Dr., 10:14 a.m. April 3. Cash and a credit card were stolen from a vehicle in a residential garage.

VANDALISM

Cobb Island Rd., 15900 block, 7:30 a.m. April 5. A racial slur and a picture were spray-painted at the entrance of a farm treatment plant.

INDIAN HEAD AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Jonquil Dr., 1:30 p.m. April 7. Tools and other items were stolen from a shed at a home.

Meadowside Ct., 5:15 a.m. April 9. A man was seen walking in a back yard. He fled and was later detained. Burglary tools were found in his possession. A heat pump at the home had been partially dismantled, and a copper pipe had been cut. An Indian Head man, 23, was charged with burglary.

LA PLATA AREA
MOTOR VEHICLE THEFTS

Beech Lane, 10:37 p.m. April 6. During a police attempt to stop a motorist driving a vehicle without headlights, it was found that a youth had taken his mother’s vehicle earlier that day. A boy, 15, was charged with vehicle theft.

WALDORF AREA
ASSAULTS

Crain Hwy., 2400 block, 1:47 a.m. April 8. Three masked men robbed a convenience store at gunpoint.

Sandalwood Dr., 2200 block, 12:14 a.m. April 6. During a traffic altercation, a man pointed a gun at a vehicle. A Waldorf man, 29, was charged with first-degree assault and possession of a handgun in a vehicle.

ROBBERIES

Tawny Dr., 9:50 p.m. April 6. A pedestrian was robbed of a phone, cash, pants and shoes at gunpoint.

VANDALISM

Rookewood Pl., 4700 block, 7 a.m. April 5. Two people tore down a house’s gutters and threw items at the home. They were also allegedly connected to a burglary on Quigley Court earlier that day. A Waldorf man, 28, and a woman, 21, were charged with destruction of property and burglary.

St. Mary’s County

LEONARDTOWN AREA
ASSAULTS

Lawrence Ave., 9:03 p.m. March 12. A woman reportedly burned the face of a male acquaintance with a cigarette. A Leonardtown woman, 24, was charged with second-degree assault.
