Breezy Point, May 1. A boat motor was stolen, and an attempt was made to steal another motor at a marina.
Larkview Ct., May 2. A homeowner placed mail containing checks in his mailbox. Later, a neighbor reported that the mail was found on the street and the checks were missing.
Solomons Island Rd., 11 p.m. April 27 to 5:30 a.m. April 28. Property was stolen from a shed and a vehicle.
Big Bear Lane, 3 to 6:45 p.m. April 28. Video games and a video game unit were stolen from a residence. The home was damaged during the theft.

Route 2/4, 9:09 a.m. May 1. During a police traffic stop, an investigation revealed that the vehicle was stolen. A California man, 25, was charged with motor vehicle theft.
Sark Ct., 8:49 a.m. May 4. A newly installed fence was damaged.
Drum Point, 10 a.m. April 29 to 4 p.m. April 30. Three motors and a TV were stolen from a boat at a marina.
Falcon Pl., 4100 block, 6:20 a.m. May 7. Two masked, armed males approached a man and his family as they were walking from an apartment building. They forced the family back inside at gunpoint and demanded money. During a scuffle, the man was shot in the arm and leg. The robbers took property and fled in a truck. The vehicle was later seen on Route 228. After a police chase, three D.C. males, 15, 19 and 30, were charged with attempted murder, first- and second-degree assault, kidnapping, burglary, theft and other violations.
Crain Hwy., 2200 block, 4 a.m. May 5. Two people broke into a liquor store. A D.C. man, 54, and a Clinton man, 25, were charged with burglary, theft and destruction of property.
California, May 1. A St. Inigoes woman, 19, was charged with theft.
Great Mills Rd., May 7. A pedestrian in the parking lot of a motel was beaten by five males and robbed of cash.
Fairgrounds Rd., 8 p.m. May 2. During a disturbance at the fairgrounds, a man scratched a police vehicle and cursed. A Hollywood man, 22, was charged with destruction of property and disorderly conduct.
Enterprise Dr., May 7. Property was stolen from a home.
Liberty St., May 7. A door at a home was damaged in an attempt to enter the residence.
Liberty St., May 7. Items were moved inside a home. Nothing was reported stolen.
Daniel Cir., April 27. During a police traffic stop, an occupant of a vehicle became disorderly. The person kicked a deputy in the chest and threatened to kill the deputy. A Mechanicsville man, 28, was charged with second-degree assault of a police officer, disorderly conduct, disturbing the public peace, resisting arrest and traffic violations.
