These were among reports received by the Calvert County Sheriff’s Office and the Maryland State Police. DUNKIRK AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Dunkirk, June 21 to June 22. A backhoe was stolen from a gas station parking lot.

HUNTINGTOWN AREA
VANDALISM

Hoile Lane, 6:30 a.m., June 18. A box and papers were found floating in a pool at a residence, and mailboxes were destroyed at several other houses.

LUSBY AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Sidewinder Lane, June 16. Two men and a woman were found in possession of three stolen all-terrain vehicles. Two Lusby men, 25 and 27, and a Chesapeake Beach woman, 33, were charged with theft.

VANDALISM

H.G. Trueman Rd., June 20 to June 21. Equipment was damaged at a construction site.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Third St., June. Three windows stored behind a business were stolen.

OWINGS AREA
VANDALISM

Bayberry Crossing, 3 to 11:30 a.m. June 22. Two mailboxes were damaged.

PRINCE FREDERICK AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Blackbird Lane, midnight to 10 a.m. June 21. A cellphone was stolen from an unlocked vehicle parked at a home.

Heritage Blvd., June 18. A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked at a business.

SOLOMONS AREA
THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Patuxent Plaza, June 17 to June 18. A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked at shopping center.

Chaptico, 9 p.m. June 19 to 5 a.m. June 20. Two signs at a golf course were spray-painted with graffiti.

VANDALISM

Leonardtown, June 20. A window at a fast-food restaurant was broken.

LEXINGTON PARK AREA
ASSAULTS

Valley Ct., 7:42 p.m. June 8. A woman assaulted an acquaintance. A Lexington Park woman, 26, was charged with second-degree assault.

VANDALISM

Midway Dr., June 20. A vehicle’s windshield was broken.

MECHANICSVILLE AREA
ASSAULTS

Thompson Corner Rd., 6:48 p.m. June 19. During an investigation, police in a squad vehicle chased a male truck driver who had refused to stop. The man eventually put the vehicle in reverse and attempted to ram a police vehicle. The truck stopped on a cement island. A Mechanicsville man, 31, was charged with three counts of first- and second-degree assault of a law enforcement officer, three counts of second-degree assault and three counts of reckless endangerment.

ROBBERIES

Three Notch Rd., 3:47 p.m. June 22. A man robbed a pharmacy of drugs and cash at gunpoint.

THEFTS/BREAK-INS

Halsey Ct., June 20. A spare key was stolen from a vehicle entered by breaking a window.
