More than 150 wild Assateague ponies swam from Assateague Island to Chincoteague Island on Wednesday, part of the annual Chincoteague Volunteer Fireman’s Carnival.

The wild ponies from Assateague are rounded up and are forced to swim to Chincoteague Island, where they're herded into the carnival grounds to be auctioned off later in the week.
