The second annual Anacostia Paddle
Instructors from Wilderness Inquiry, a nonprofit outdoor adventure group, estimate that by the week's end, they will have taken more than 750 students from 12 area schools on the Anacostia River. It's part of a group effort to connect students with natural local resources and give hands-on experiences. Third-graders from E.L. Haynes Public Charter School were among the groups on the trip.
