The Soul In Motion Players
Members of Soul In Motion Players performed in front of a full house at the Laurel-Beltsville Senior Activity Center on Wednesday afternoon February 15, 2012 in Laurel, Md. The performing arts group founded in 1984 and based in Rockville specializes in African dance and drumming as well as theater and spoken word. The group’s dancers performed the kuku, sorsonet and the doundounba, with all from West Africa for the seniors. Soul In Motion will be celebrating it’s 28th anniversary with a concert at Joe’s Movement Emporium in Mt. Rainier February 25 and 26th.
