Chuck Brown captivates audience at The Gallery at Vivid Solutions
Last August, The Gallery at Vivid Solutions and Vivid Solutions D.C. Print Lab in Anacostia welcomed Chuck Brown, the ‘Godfather of Go-Go,’ to view ‘(Un)Lock It: The Percussive People in the Go-go Pocket.’ The exhibition of photgraphs documenting a slice of go-go’s history was photographed by Thomas Sayers Ellis. During that visit, the legendary Brown capitvated a room full of fans and friends with his candid tales as go-go’s pioneer.
