A new Busboys and Poets will probably be the first neighborhood place that draws a large crowd from both the District’s Takoma neighborhood and Maryland’s Takoma Park — an area that has seen change over the past few years. The restaurant provides people of different ethnic and racial stripes with “opportunities to intersect,” owner Andy Shallal says.
