Year Up National Capital Region finds inspiration in MLK memorial
Year Up, a national organization that helps young people develop job skills and experience, held a small march on the National Mall on May 23 to highlight the large number of young people who need employment opportunities. More than 100 young people, staff and supporters from the organization’s local chapter walked along the National Mall to the Martin Luther King Jr Memorial. Other Year Up affiliates also participated in cities such as New York, Seattle and Chicago.
