Today in D.C.: Four things to watch for

Coming up today in the D.C. region:

Council meeting: Montgomery County’s fiscal plan and anti-bullying efforts in schools are on the agenda.

Montgomery County schools: The schools superintendent will propose a budget increase today. Parents are expected to make the case for a later start time for the school day.

Online degree: American University will announce today that it’s joining the online degree program 2U to offer a master’s in international relations starting in May 2013.

Pro sports in Virginia Beach: The city council is expected to vote today on whether to keep negotiating for a pro sports arena to attract an NBA team.
