Today in D.C.: Four things to watch for

December 21, 2012

Coming up today in the D.C. region:

NRA: The National Rifle Association is set to hold a “major” news conference in Washington today in response to the Newtown school massacre.

Hawaiian senator: A funeral for Sen. Daniel K. Inouye (D-Hawaii) will be held today at 10:30 a.m. at the National Cathedral.

End of Days: “Apocalyptic” tasting menus, happy hours, fortune-tellers and costume parties are just a few ways to commemorate Dec. 21 oblivion in the D-M-V.

Benjamin Bellas: Today is the last chance to visit the Bellas exhibit, inspired by the artists’s uncle who was lost at sea during the Vietnam War.
