Obama memorabilia: The official inauguration souvenir shop will open today at noon at the corner of 11th and F streets NW.

Transit funding: Transportation Secretary Ray LaHood is expected to announce funding to help WMATA and other agencies boost training programs and opportunities for students in the District and nationwide.

Pentagon shooter: The ex-Marine convicted of firing shots at the Pentagon and other military targets is scheduled to be sentenced today.

Wet weather: Expect showers this afternoon before a weekend warmup — we could hit 70 on Sunday.
