Traffic blocked after train, truck collide

At least one major traffic artery in Northern Virginia was shut down for a time Friday night after a collision between a train and a tractor trailer in Prince William County.

Route 29 was blocked for a time after the collision in the Gainesville area, a spokesman for the county police. Police said it appeared that the train may have struck the rear of the tractor trailer.

No injuries were reported.
