Four hospitalized after bus crash on I-95 South in Stafford County, Va.

Virginia State Police said a 50-year-old New York man has been charged with reckless driving after a bus crash on Interstate 95 southbound in Stafford County. The crash shut down the interstate near Mountain View Road for several hours.

There were no reported fatalities. Police said four of the 58 passengers on the bus were in serious condition at area hospitals. The bus left New York Sunday night and was headed to Doraville, Ga.

The crash in Stafford County occurred about 4 a.m. when the bus, heading south on I-95, ran off the road, overturning on its side.

Qilong Xang, of Flushing, N.Y., was the bus’s driver. He refused medical treatment at the scene. Police said speed was a factor in the crash.

The bus was operated by Princess Tours.
