Well-known design blogger and interior stylist Eddie Ross shares easy and affordable ways to redecorate using what you have around the house.

Using paint and about $25 worth of mirror, Ross turned an old cabinet into a statement piece. "Painting made it new again," he says. "It now feels fresh and not so dated or traditional."

To change the look in his kitchen, Ross will pull out his whisks, rolling pins and wooden spoons and place them in a big ironstone pitcher to sit on the countertop.

A small amount of fabric and some foam-core board was all it took for Ross to completely change the look of this IKEA bookcase.
