Ken Cuccinelli signs copies of his book

Virginia Attorney General Ken Cuccinelli relished his role as author Friday night, posing for pictures and signing copies of his new book at an event in Fredericksburg.
Cuccinelli, expected to be the Repulican nominee in this year’s Virginia gubernatorial contest, spent more than an hour greeting a long and steady line of customers at the Barnes and Noble bookstore. His 259-page book, “The Last Line of Defense: The New Fight for American Liberty,” debuted Tuesday.
The book recounts Cuccinelli’s courtroom battles against the federal government, especially his unsuccessful lawsuit against President Barack Obama’s healthcare law.
Barry Isenhour of Midlothian bought a copy of the book after reading an excerpt.
“I can’t conceive him not winning,” said Isenhour as he uploaded a picture of himself and Cuccinelli to Facebook.
David Charett of Fredericksburg, an avid book collector, bought a copy for himself and his cousin.
“He seems very pleasant,” said Charett of Cuccinelli.“Very personable.”
Cuccinelli’s book tour continues this weekend. The author and candidate is scheduled to be in Tysons Corner on Saturday.
