Washington-area closings because of the winter storm

Following is a list of weather-related closings:

SCHOOLS

●Loudoun County public schools will be closed Monday.

●Fairfax County public schools will be closed Monday.

●Fauquier County public schools will be closed Monday.

●Prince William County public schools will be closed Monday.

●Montgomery County public schools will be closed Monday. The central office opens at 11.

●Alexandria City public schools will be closed Monday.

●D.C. public schools will be on a two-hour delay Monday.

●Frederick County public schools will be closed Monday.

●Arlington County public schools will be closed Monday. Offices open on liberal leave policy.

●Prince George’s County public schools and offices are on a two-hour delay Monday. There are no half-day ECC or pre-K programs

●Northern Virginia Community College will open at 11 a.m. Monday

●Anne Arundel County Public Schools will be on a two-hour delay Monday. There will be no morning half-day pre-kindergarten or ECI classes.

●Howard County Public Schools are closed Monday.

●The University of the District of Columbia will open at 10 a.m. at all locations. Essential employees are to report on time.

●Charles County schools are closing 90 minutes early Monday.

GOVERNMENT

●Federal government offices will be on a two-hour delay Monday, with options for unscheduled leave or telework.

●D.C. government offices will be open Monday.

●Except for courts, Fairfax County government offices will be open Monday, with unscheduled leave for employees. Fairfax County Circuit Court, General District Court and Juvenile and Domestic Relations Court will be closed Monday.

●Montgomery County government will open at 10 a.m. Monday.

MISCELLANEOUS

●All Muslim Association of America’s Sunday afternoon fundraiser to expand the Muslim cemetery in Stafford, Va., was postponed. Tickets can be held for rescheduled event or refunded.

●Press conference scheduled for 9:30 a.m. Monday with Virginia’s congressional delegation in support of moving the FBI to Springfield has been postponed.
