Aurora, Colo., shooting victim tells his story

Barton was released from the hospital, but still bears the scars from the attack, both physical and mental. He told a Washington Post reporter that he was thankful he survived the attack but said he also continued to wrestle with why so many others had not. “I’ll struggle with that,” Barton said. “It was so arbitrary, the way people died.”
