Shark fin bans
The movement to ban the sale and trade of shark fins is taking shape across the country, including in Maryland, where a bill passed the Senate this week and is pending in the House of Delegates. No dried shark fin went in or out of Baltimore from 2001-2011, but ports in the Mid-Atlantic did see fin trade. Read related article.
