‘HealthyWage’ competition encourages weight loss with financial incentive
HealthyWage is a two-year-old company that arranges competitions to help companies encourage their employees to lose weight and shed unhealthful habits, helping lower health care costs. At the Meritus Medical Center in Hagerstown, Md., 120 workers are competing to shed pounds for a $10,000 prize.
