City officials hope to construct a 65-bus depot around a shuttered school in Northeast Washington as Union Station undergoes a years-long renovation. In late July, neighborhood residents filed suit to block construction, saying the city failed to conduct an environmental impact assessment in an area where people sit on their porches and many residents suffer from respiratory problems.
