• District: Meters not enforced. Holiday regulations with rush hours lifted. For inaugural street closures, go to http://ddot.dc.gov.
• Maryland: No parking fees except for New Carrollton garage, National Harbor, and in Anne Arundel and Howard counties.
• Virginia: Meters not enforced in Arlington County and the City of Alexandria. HOV restrictions lifted.
TRASH, RECYCLING
• District: No trash or recycling pickup. Pickups slide to the next day through the end of the week. No leaf collection. Transfer station closed.
• Maryland: Regular trash and recycling pickup. Montgomery pickups slide one day to the end of the week. Montgomery Transfer Station closed. Landfills open, except in Anne Arundel County.
• Virginia: Regular trash and recycling pickup in Arlington and Fairfax Counties. Monday pickup will occur on Tuesday in the City of Fairfax and the City of Alexandria. Landfills open.
• District: Open at owner’s discretion.
• Maryland: Closed.

• Metrorail will open at 4 a.m. and close at 2 a.m. Rush hour service will operate from 4 a.m. until 9 p.m. Yellow line trains will operate between Huntington and Gallery Place only. Three Metrorail stations will be closed Inauguration Day: Smithsonian, Archive and Mount Vernon Square. The four Metrorail stations closest to the Capitol should only be used by those with Inauguration tickets. They are: Union Station, Judiciary Square, Capitol South and Federal Center SW.
