Tropical Storm Lee’s trail of destruction
After Tropical Storm Lee dumped a foot of rain on New Orleans, the storm made a slow crawl north, flooding communities from Virginia to New York. Nearly 100,000 people were ordered to flee the rising Susquehanna River at one point, and the storm and its aftermath were blamed for at least 15 deaths, including in Pennsylvania, Virginia and Maryland.
