-Looks like John Oliver is starting off by landing some pretty strong guests for his new HBO show, “Last Week Tonight.”

-Did the Federal Communications Commission just kill Aereo before the Supreme Court could make up its mind?

-”The Whore Of Mensa” is finally real.

-A surprise album is not a surprise album if you announce it.

-A fun weekend hypothetical: Which fictional restaurant would you most like to be able to eat at?

-This fight between Netflix and Comcast just keeps getting worse.

-When terrible movies happen to great actresses, and then happen to great critics.

-The psychology of cult television shows.

-“Star Wars” in miniature.

-I am very much look forward to seeing Richard Linklater’s “Boyhood”:
