Earlier this summer, I asked you all to vote on a date that might be convenient for all of us to get together in Washington, drink delicious beverages and talk about politics and popular culture. Then, I went and got credentialed to cover the Toronto International Film Festival, which overlaps with all of the dates I had you picking from. Clearly, I am better at live-tweeting “Friday Night Lights” than I am at planning happy hours.

But never fear: We are going to make this happen. So here are the details:

When: Oct. 1, 5:30 p.m. to 8 p.m.

Where: Cantina Pub at Darlington House, 1610 20th St. NW

What to Do Next: RSVP! I know filling out forms is a pain. But it will help me a lot in figuring out how many tables to try to save. And if there is any chance you might be able to get there on the early side of things and give me a hand, let me know in comments or email me at alyssa.rosenberg@washpost.com. The first couple of people to respond will get their first rounds on me.
